This dissertation argues that a critical mass of politically committed Nicaraguan writers developed an approach to poetry to articulate their revolutionary hopes not in classical Marxist terms, but as a decisive rupture with the present order that might generate social, spiritual, and natural communion. I use the term “volcanic poetics” to refer to this approach to poetry, and my dissertation explores its vicissitudes in the political and artistic engagements of writers and poets who either sympathized with, or were protagonists of, the Sandinista revolution.

Uno de estos obstáculos es la problemática principal de la que parte este proyecto y es que aún se siguen escuchando canciones con letras sexistas que muestran a la mujer como un simple objeto sexual y, además, gracias a las nuevas tecnologías, los/as jóvenes las escuchan reiteradamente y con menos edad de la que deberían, lo que conlleva a numerosas consecuencias, las cuales se expondrán más adelante. Por todo esto, se ha visto la necesidad de diseñar un proyecto educativo de intervención social que se centre en promover la igualdad de género, además de crear una conciencia social en la juventud actual sobre la importancia que hay que dar a las letras de las canciones para que no pasen desapercibidas, ya que algunas pueden ser potencialmente dañinas para numerosos colectivos, y, con esto, demostrar que hay que ser críticos con los mensajes e información que se recibe, pues no toda es verídica ni la adecuada.

Nach dem Release ihrer Live-CD/DVD „El Baile Oficial“ , einer Zeitreise durch die fast 20-jährige Bandgeschichte, die eindrücklich dokumentiert, was für ein Feuerwerk die Jungs aus Mendoza und Buenos Aires auf der Bühne entfachen, melden sie sich 2013 mit einem neuen, selbstbetitelten Album zurück. „Perfectos Idiotas“ nannten sie sich bei Bandgründung im Jahre 1993 – da waren sie noch in Mendoza ansässig, Liebhabern überseeischen Rebensaftes als Anbaugebiet guter Tropfen bestens bekannt. 1997 beziehen sie dann Quartier in La Boca, wo sie in der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft des Boca Junior-Stadions fortan ein wuselndes Laboratorium für andere Bands betreiben und mit einem wilden panamerikanischen Worldrock-Mix auch das Konzept für ihre eigene Formation weiter entwickeln. Die verpasst sich bald süßsakrale Weihen und nennt sich KARAMELO SANTO, das “Heilige Bonbon” – eine Leckerei, die von Chile bis Mexiko viele Anhänger gewinnt. Nach zwei Alben schließlich der Quantensprung: 2000 eröffnen sie für Manu Chaos argentinische Konzerte und buchen Mr. Mestizo gleich für ihre nächste Scheibe. Der Rest ist Geschichte: Jahr für Jahr produzieren die umtriebigen Argentinier ein neues Album und widerlegen das Klischee, dass alles, was in der Kapitale nahe am Wasser baut, mit Tango getränkt sein muss. Mit ihrer Mischung aus politischen Texten, extrem tanzbarem Sound und einer so sympathischen wie mitreißenden Liveshow erobern sie sich stückchenweise auch in Europa eine treue Fangemeinde.
