udubon International programs educate, assist, and inspire people from all walks of life to protect and sustain the land, A water, wildlife, and natural resources around them. The organization awards certification to recognize program members that demonstrate their commitment to environmental quality by meeting required standards for protecting the environment, conserving natural resources, and providing wildlife habitats. Certification requirements vary for each Audubon International program; more information can be found at www.auduboninternational.org/programs. The following properties have achieved certification as of January 8, 2007: Certified Audubon properties are private and public properties that complement preserved lands. They contribute to the conservation of Audubon Signature Programs resources and the protection of both common and rare plants and Certified Gold Audubon Signature Sanctuaries wildlife.
