Join us today for the second event in our four-part series on engaging students through high- impact teaching practices. Today our panelists will discuss how global and intercultural learning experiences can deepen student learning. In the rest of the series, we'll hear practitioners and experts discuss how to fold research opportunities into the undergraduate classroom, and how e-portfolios can support student reflection and learning.

Next week we launch a three-part event series on teaching at colleges; the first event, a panel discussion on what it's like to teach at a community college, takes place next Tuesday.

Beyond CIRTL, next week the Postdoc Academy is launching its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on succeeding as a postdoc; the MOOC will be paired with learning communities to provide postdocs with peer support throughout the 6-week course.
