    How to get Rome from the “Leonardo Da Vinci” Fiumicino Airport The main airport Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) is located about 26 km from the city centre. The centre of city is easily reached: FROM AND TO FIUMICINO AIRPORT BY TRAIN At the airport’s railway station the Shuttle-Train Leonardo Express direct service (without calling at other stations) takes just 31 minutes to get to Termini Station (intersecting with the Metro Lines A & B) and leaves every half hour from 6.36 a.m. to 11.36 p.m. FROM AND TO FIUMICINO BY TAXI Taxis licensed by Rome City Council are white and have a sign bearing the word “TAXI” on their roofs and by the identifying licence number on the doors, on the back and inside the car. The symbol of the Rome City Council is clearly visible on the front doors and the license inside the back left. Other vehicles waiting on exiting the airport may well be driven by unauthorized persons and the fare could therefore be a great deal higher. Taxis for Rome are found at the exits of both the domestic and international arrival terminals. FIRST PHASE: The first phase of the project E-COSMOS has been a preparatory phase which has allowed the partnership to design the comparative study of mobility for commuters in Belgium, Germany, Italy and Spain, and of public policies to promote sustainable mobility. 1.1 WORKSHOP IN MADRID Description of the activity: Madrid, 12 & 13 January 2011 It was organised by CCOO and ISTAS, with the participation of representatives of CGIL, ABVV, ACE, ISTAS and CC OO. Decifrare e misurare l’articolazione del livello di benessere materiale della popolazione stanziata nelle comunità amministrative di un territorio costituisce, infatti, uno dei presupposti per la formulazione di una ampia gamma di politiche locali ed in particolare di quel- le orientate al riequilibrio dello sviluppo sociale ed economico. A prescindere dai possibili esiti pratici che può avere una mappa del benes- sere materiale del territorio provinciale, l’incremento di conoscenza sulle caratteri- stiche del proprio territorio induce culturalmente ciascuna comunità a riflettere su sé stessa ed a distinguersi rispetto alle uguaglianze/differenze che la allontanano o av- vicinano alle altre.
