In 2012 David Geringas gave SERIES PRESENTS three world premieres, Arvydas Malcys’ Concerto “In Memoriam”, the Concerto per Violoncello by Silvia Colasanti and the Cello Concerto by Alexander Raskatov.

For his championing of Lithuanian music and composers, David Geringas has won the highest awards of his homeland. He also was awarded the Verdienstkreuz 1. Klasse of Germany for his achievements as musician and cultural ambassador for the country on the international musical scene.

PROFILES Violinist Itamar Zorman is the winner of the 2011 International PROGRAM Tchaikovsky Competition in Russia. His previous awards include the First Prize at the 2010 Freiburg International Violin Competition in Sonata for solo violin, Op. 31, No. 1 Germany and the Juilliard Alban Berg Concerto Competition.
