EDGEWOODMARCH 2006 Laura Horner Named 16th Annual Limpert Honoree Laura Horner was presented with the prestigious William D. Limpert Award for Community Service at the annual town meeting held in February and sponsored by the Edgewood Foundation. Laura was chosen for this award, established to recognize a resident of our borough who has made a signifi- cant contribution to the quality of life in our community, because of her willing ness to give of her time and talents to key community groups and the activi- ties and programs supported by them. Laura joined the board of the Edgewood Club six years ago. Her tenure coincided with the club’s cen- tennial celebration. She made sure the centennial events and promotion of the club observance emphasized the uniqueness of Edgewood. She also served on the board of the Edgewood Foundation, where she AN EXCLUSIVE CLUB; Laura Horner joins the distinguished list of Limpert award winners. worked to maximize cross promotion of Here, she receives her plaque from Foundation president Vaughn Busch. the Foundation activities through Club activities.
