Bob’s efforts helped our team to an undefeated season, earning the West Penn Championship as well as being Section VI champions. Bob’s love for the sport of wrestling and a passion to provide our district’s youth with the very best experience was instrumental in the growth of the NA Junior Wrestling Program, as well as the NA Wrestling Boosters. Bob’s efforts not only provided outstanding opportunities for our district’s young people, but also our surrounding areas. The program of youth wrestling throughout Western Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth flourished under Bob’s tenure. Bob was extremely dedicated, and spent countless hours organizing area and state wrestling tournaments, which displayed the most competitive wrestling seen anywhere. Bob was instrumental in organizing clinics, and was known as the Leader, the Dean, the Man that made all good things happen with the sport of wrestling during his long tenure as a dedicated volunteer with our wrestling program. Bob’s positive influence, his efforts, and his vision for the sport of wrestling continues today through a most dedicated team of volunteers and parent group that have the strong desire to build upon the foundation and tradition of excellence established by the “Wrestling Family,” according to Athletic Director Bob Bozzuto. Bob Rodgers lives today through the efforts of Eric Stedeford, David Marx, Mark Coy, and many others. Bob Rodgers is survived by his wife, Pam, and children, Chris, Nick, Jesse, and Cara. 8 2019 North Allegheny Athletic Hall of Fame North Allegheny Athletic Hall of Fame THE JOSEPH DRAZENOVICH AWARD FOR LEGENDARY SERVICE Eric Stedeford 2019 Recipient Since 2004, Eric has been, and currently is, the ultimate giver of his time by volunteering countless hours to our district’s youth, coaching the sports of wrestling, soccer, baseball, and football.
