2010

Project Graduation is an annual substance-free, alcohol-free celebration for the high school graduates following their commence- ment ceremony at the Civic Center. The all-night event allows graduating seniors to celebrate with their friends one last time, in a fun, healthy atmosphere, while emphasizing that alcohol and drugs are not necessary to have a good time. The 2010 celebration was hosted by The Hangout in Gulf Shores; AL. Seniors had a private concert by the band Between the Trees, a show by illusionist Amon Blair tattoo artists, tarot card readers, beach games, a scavenger hunt, karaoke, a dance off, a DJ, a mid- night buffet and even a little swing dancing! Committee Chair Persons, The Hangout, PTSO committee co-chairs, and the Gulf Breeze Police Dept. took great pains and pride in making sure this was the safest and best event ever! Congratulations to the 10 scholarship winners! And with Heartfelt thanks we would like to recognize the following businesses and individuals in our community who helped to make this event possible, whether you gave time, money, or in-kind services, your support and generosity is very much appreciated by both the students, organizers and parents!
