The hall leads to the social hub of the property, an open plan living area/kitchen which enjoys views of the gardens. So we set about designing and building Crofts Edge to our exact specification. We set out to create contemporary living space with all of the rooms being spacious and offering plenty of storage. The main reception room is perfectly placed overlooking the beautiful garden and is a wonderful relaxing room, great for watching the birds and wildlife the gardens attract. On the other hand Greencroft offers easy access to Durham, Newcastle City centre, the Metrocentre and Newcastle Airport. Corbridge and Hexham are also within a 30 minute drive. It has been a pleasure to live here, the only reason we are moving is that it’s time for us to downsize. We have so many special memories of our time here. I celebrated my 50th birthday with 150 guests mingling between the house and gardens with singers and entertainers performing all day long. The magnificent views will be a miss along with the way the sun rises on one side of the house, we then have the sun all day until it goes down on the other side. In the latter case the Agreement would be Enrolled as a Decree at the Court of Chancery in Durham and/or lodged with the Clerk of the Peace, the senior government officer in the County, so may be preserved in Quarter Sessions records. In the case of Parliamentary Enclosure a Local Bill would be put before Parliament which would pass it into law as an Inclosure Act. The Acts appointed Commissioners to survey the area concerned and determine its distribution as a published Inclosure Award.

It does not seek to provide a discourse on the policy as a whole, but to address the locally- specific issues in County Durham and explain the approach taken in the policy. Our policy approach is positive, identifying suitable areas, and criteria based, to ensure that sustainable and appropriate development is looked upon favourably in line with the "presumption in favour of sustainable development" in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF). The policy covers all scales of wind turbine development. 1.2 The UK is required to meet legally binding targets for the generation of 15% of all energy (including electricity, fuel and heating) from renewable sources by 2020. In 2011 the Government produced 'Planning our electric future: a White Paper for secure, affordable and low-carbon electricity' which set out the goal of 'decarbonising' electricity generation. Also in 2011, the Government produced a 'UK Renewable Energy Roadmap' which sets out how the 2020 target will be achieved. This was updated in late 20121 with discussion of progress toward the 2020 target.
