GETTING HERE

If you’re coming by car or truck, virtually all roads lead to the . Plus, there’s plenty of off-site parking within walking distance of the iconic facility. And if you’re looking to burn some calories while blazing a trail to our front door, take advantage of Citi Bike, ’s new bike sharing system. The NY Waterway is also a convenient and quick way to get to the Javits Center from across the , and only one block from the Javits Center.  MENU - BY CAR

From the North (Westchester, Connecticut, Massachusetts) 95 South (via the Cross-Bronx Expressway) to the George Washington Bridge. At approach to bridge, bear right to lower level. Exit at the last exit in New York–Parkway South–9A. Follow Parkway South (/ Highway) to . Turn left. Go one block to 11th Avenue and turn right.

Saw Mill River Parkway/Henry Hudson Parkway/Route 9A: Follow 9A South to 42nd Street. Turn Left. Go one block to 11th Avenue and turn right.

New York State Thruway/Major Deegan Expressway/Route 87: Major Deegan Expressway to George Washington Bridge exit. Stay in right lane towards lower level. Exit at the last exit in New York–Parkway South–9A. Follow Parkway South (Henry Hudson Parkway/) to 42nd Street. Turn left. Go one block to 11th Avenue and turn right.

From the South (, Delaware, Pennsylvania, etc.) 95 North to the New Jersey Turnpike. Exit at the . When exiting the tunnel, bear left. Follow signs for uptown or northbound to 42nd Street. Turn left onto 42nd Street until you reach 11th Avenue and turn left.

George Washington Bridge to Parkway South– 9A. At 42nd Street, turn left. Go one block to 11th Avenue and turn right.

From Queens and Long Island Queens-Midtown Tunnel: Take Southbound or Downtown exit to and turn right. Go west and turn right on 11th Avenue.

Queensboro/ Bridge: Take 60/61st Street Exit. Go to 5th Avenue alongside to 59th Street. Turn right onto 59th Street to 7th Avenue and turn left. Go two blocks to and turn right. Follow 57th Street to 11th Avenue and turn left. The Center is between 34th and 38th streets.

From Staten Island Verrazano-Narrows Bridge eastbound to the Gowanus Expressway, to the Battery Tunnel. Exit westbound to the West Side Highway/12th Avenue. At 34th Street, turn right. Go one block to 11th Avenue and take a left.

- BY PLANE  The New York metropolitan is serviced by three major airports: JFK International, Newark International and LaGuardia Airport. Travel time by taxi from the airports to midtownMENU varies by airport. Travel time from LaGuardia to midtown can take anywhere from 25-40 minutes. JFK can take anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour and Newark 40 to 60 minutes. Javits’ official transportation partner, Supershuttle/Golden Touch Transportation Services, can arrange shuttle services to and from the airports as well as transportation by private or shared limousine. - BY TAXI

Metered Rate of Fare $2.50 upon entry $0.50 per 1/5 mile or per 60 seconds in slow traffic or when vehicle stopped $0.50 night surcharge after 8:00 p.m. and prior to 6:00 a.m. $1.00 Peak Hour Surcharge in effect 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday-Friday $0.50 MTA NY State Tax surcharge per ride $0.30 Improvement Surcharge

Different variables such as heavy traffic and tolls should be taken into account in gauging the final cost of your trip.

A cab ride between Grand Central, Penn Station or Port Authority to the Javits Center can cost anywhere from $8-$15 depending on the traffic.

- BY TRUCK

Trucks higher than 12 ft. 6 in. will not clear tunnels. They must use a bridge. Also remember that no trucks are allowed on parkways. The address for truck deliveries is 369 12th Ave, New York, NY 10001.

From North

95 South (via the Cross Bronx-Expressway): Exit at Amsterdam Avenue and cross the University Avenue Bridge to 181st Street. Turn left onto . (see Street Directions below)

87 South (via the Major Deegan Expressway): Exit at /Macombs Dam Bridge. Continue west on 155th Street to Broadway where you turn left. (see Street Directions below)

Triborough Bridge: To Manhattan. Exit at . Go west to Broadway and turn left. (see Street Directions below)

Street Directions: Continue on Broadway to the of Broadway, West 65th Street and Columbus Avenue. Bear right onto Columbus. This becomes 9th Avenue at 59th Street. Stay on 9th Avenue to 34th Street. Follow westbound signs to 12th Avenue.

From East:

From Long Island–Route 495 (Long Island Expressway): To Queens Midtown Tunnel. Take southbound or downtown exit to 34th Street and turn right. Follow westbound signs to 12th Avenue.

Manhattan Bridge: Follow westbound signs to 12th Avenue. Note: Some lane restrictions may be necessary. Electronic signage will direct truck and other traffic whenever detours are necessary.

From Staten Island and Brooklyn:

From the Verrazanno Narrows Bridge, take the Gowanus Expressway to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Follow westbound signs to 12th Avenue.

- BY BIKE

Citi Bike is New York’s popular new bike sharing system, which features thousands of bikes at hundreds of stations around the city. The bikes can be rented from and returned to any station in the system, and are available 24/7, 365 days a year. You may choose to purchase a 24-Hour Access Pass for $9.95 or a 7-Day Access Pass for $25. Access Passes may only be purchased at Citi Bike stations, using the touchscreen kiosk.
