The Space Agency provides grant financial support to research institutions; space educational programs was created in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. The beginning of the aerospace development in Kazakhstan started from the creation of the Space Research Institute in 1991 which, apart from the Kazakhstan pursuance of basic and applied research in space technologies, coordinated the work during the development and implementation of Kazakhstani programs of scientific research and experimentation onboard of the Mir station and ISS, with the participation of astronauts T. Aubakirov, T. Mussabayev, A. Aimbetov. JSC “National Company “Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary” (KGS) was created in 2005 with the main objective to create space technologies in the interests of Kazakhstan. With evolving space activities the creation of the National Space Agency become necessary in 2007. The Republic of Kazakhstan, on the territory of which is a unique and the largest in the world “Baikonur” cosmodrome, is developing its own space branch consistently. At the present time, the complex “Baikonur” is leased by Russian Federation on the base of Lease Treaty of 1994. However, it does not hinder the development of international cooperation with other countries in space activities in any way. Bilateral agreements with a number of states on the implementation of joint space programs and projects are concluding. Among the partners such state as Russia, China, USA, Japan, India, Germany, France and others. In addition, Kazakhstan participates in multilateral and regional agreements in the field of space activities. The purpose of this article is to determine the degree of international space law implementation in the juridical regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and to find out inconsistencies of norms.     EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation 日欧産業協力センター The Space Sector EU- Japan business and technological cooperation potential Veronica La Regina Minerva Fellow Tokyo 2015 1 Abstract This report aims to propose the best way of pursuing the EU-Japan industrial cooperation in the field of Space. Firstly, it reviews European and Japanese current cooperation in the field of Space. Secondly, it investigates the current level of trade between the two partners in order to understand the best way to generate further cooperation. Thirdly, the Report hopes to inform both sides about each region’s current Space sector landscape from the political, policy and industrial point of views. Fourthly, it identifies areas of industrial cooperation for which local gaps in knowledge or experience could be filled by foreign expertise, for example the European technological gaps in the small-size satellite constellation could be filled by the Japanese expertise while the Japanese intention to become more commercially oriented could be supported by the more expansive European experience in this area. Finally, recommendations to the Japanese and European stakeholders are provided. Under våren stängdes mål- satelliten Tango av och huvudsatelliten Mango satte kurs mot den avstängda franska satelliten Picard.
