J BALVIN AND ZION & LENNOX TO PERFORM AT THE ALTOS DE CHAVÓN AMPHITHEATER The Urban Performers Will Hit the Stone Stage on June 25th
La Romana, D.R. — (June 2, 2016) — Urban music also has its place within the dynamic and diversified leisure activities program at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. To prove that point, two of the biggest acts in Latin music – J Balvin and Zion & Lennox – will be traveling to the Dominican Republic next month to perform on the magical stage of the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater on Saturday, June 25, 2016.

The show at Casa de Campo forms part of J Balvin’s current tour across Latin America and the United States. His performance in Altos de Chavón will be accompanied by a team of more than 20 people and will include stage production by Michell Schellenger (Imagine Dragons, Fun, Enrique Iglesias, Jason Derulo, Hardwell) and choreography by Chase Benz, who has worked with artists such as Britney Spears.
Creator of a unique urban fusion that is born of Puerto Rican reggaeton influences and mixed with Colombian rhythms and the contemporary sounds of the new urban scene, J Balvin is without a doubt one of the most promising young talents and a leader in Latin music. He is synonymous with talent and a faithful representative of the new street vibe.
He is known for his irreverent sense of humor and his warm dealings with the fans, which has garnered him a loyal and powerful music platform in social media with more than 1 billion views on Vevo/Youtube, and more than 25 million fans on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. His new video “Bobo” recently set the record for the most viewed Spanish-language video in 24 hours on Vevo, accumulating 4.9 million views and doubling the record that he received previously with “Ginza.”
J Balvin’s most important collaborations include Pharrell Williams, Nicky Jam, Daddy Yankee,
David Guetta, Major Lazer, Farruko, Arcangel, Yandel, Jowell & Randy, and Becky G, among others, in addition the official Latino remix of the hit “Sorry” by Justin Bieber.
By his side, Zion & Lennox represent one of the most stable duos in urban music. They became know in the music industry at an international level in 2003 with the greatest hits album produced by Luny Tunes and Noriega, “Desafío.” In their 13 years on the road, they have sang songs such as “Tu Principe,” “Doncella,” “Toma pa’ que te enamore,” “Hay algo en ti,” “Hoy lo siento,” and “Pierdo la cabeza.” They have also performed multiple collaborations with the likes of Jowell & Randy, Daddy Yankee, Tony Dize, J Balvin, Plan B, Tito El Bambino and Alberto Stylee.
Most recently, Zion & Lennox won the “Latin Rhythm Songs - Artist, Duo or Group of the Year” at the Billboard Latin Music Awards. In addition, they are putting the finishing touches on their next album “Motivan2,” which is set to be released in June and are currently promoting the first single, “Embriágame.”
