oJo Siwa is ready to go back to her dancing roots and make history on Dancing With the Stars. At ABC’s Television Critics Associa- Jtion panel on Thursday (Aug. 26), it was announced that season 30 of Dancing With the Stars would feature the show’s first same-sex pairing of contestants; Siwa will be paired with a female professional dancer to compete on the show. In a video shared on the show’s Twit- ter account, Siwa expressed her eagerness to get started on the show. “I am so excited to be a part of this year’s Dancing With the Stars season 30, and to be dancing with a girl,” she said in the video. “I think it’s so cool ... I can’t wait to dance every week, I can’t wait to meet my partner, oh my gosh, there’s so many things I’m so excited for!” Dancing With the Stars also announced that 18-year-old Team USA gymnast Suni Yee will also be joining the show’s 30th sea- son, hot off of her gold medal win in wom- en’s gymnastics individual all-around at the Summer Olympics.
