Meet at First Lutheran Church at 9:00am to take church bus to starting point. Bring bicycle, helmet, pump, tube patch kit, and money for lunch.

1. March 28, 2015 Fisherman’s Terminal via Commodore Way to Government Locks and to Shilshole Bay Marina and Golden Gardens—views of Osprey Nest and boats at Locks and see Olympic views and waterfowl at Golden Gardens ponds—4 mi. each way. Lunch at Little Chinooks at Fisherman’s Terminal or at Ballard Dicks. Possible side trip on bike trail on south side of Lake Ship Canal to Norwegian bakery near Pacific and to see Waiting for Interurban statue in Fremont. 2. April 25, 2015. Peninsula Loop and Lake Washington Boulevard to Mt. Baker Park-- views of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker and see flowering Cherry trees along lake and waterfowl in Andrews Bay at Seward Park—4 miles one way—lunch at Leschi Deli. Possible side trip to Leschi yacht basin and to see sailboats and more water birds 3. May 30, 2015 via Burke Gilman Trail to University Bridge and via Boyer Avenue, 24th Ave. to Interlaken Boulevard and return to Gas Works Park—views of Lake Union and Union Bay and of urban forest on Interlaken Boulevard--4 miles each way—lunch at RoRo Barbecue in Fremont. Possible side trip to Japanese Garden in Arboretum. 4. June 27, 2015 Alki Beach to on Beach Drive--views of Puget Sound, Olympic Mountains, and ferry boats—3 ½ miles one way—lunch at Spud’s Fish & Chips at Alki—possible side trip on Alki Avenue and Harbor Avenue to Duwamish Head for views of Mt. Baker and downtown Seattle. 5. July 18, 2015Woodinville City Park to Marymoor Park via Sammamish River Bike Trail—views of Sammamish River Valley and waterfowl –6 mi. each way. Lunch at Red Hook Brew Pub or Wendy’s in Woodinville. Possible side trip to Marymoor Park Velodrome and Cricket Field.

September Magnolia Bluffs Marina to , Grain Terminal, and fishing pier— views of boat traffic in Elliott Bay and of Olympic Mountains and Mt. Rainier—3 ½ mi. each way. Lunch at Maggie B’s at Magnolia Bluffs Marina. Possible side trip to and Magnolia Boulevard. 8. October Mathews Beach Park to University of Washington Center for Urban Horticulture on Burke Gilman Trail to see fall foliage and water fowl at Union Bay—6 mi. each way. Lunch at Kaffeeklatsch Seattle German bakery in Lake City or at Burgermaster in U Village. Possible side trip to UW crew house to see Husky Clipper historic eight oared crew shell which was winning boat in 1936 Olympics in Berlin
