This exciting day takes us from Lubbock, TX through the deserts of New Mexico and concludes in the magical mountains of Rusideo, NM (the home stomping grounds of Billy the Kid) We will depart Texas Post 575 in Lubbock and stop at a gas stop inly 67 miles later in Plains, TX (we will need it for the next leg). Then, the long, long desert stretch brings us to the famous Roswell, NM where we will stop at Post 28 for some great New Mexican cuisine. We conclude the day climbing into the mountain a bit to a town who is rolling out the red carpet. After an escorted Parade through beautiful downtown Rusideo, we will end in the large parking lot of the Convention Center and MCM Lodge and Resort. Riders will enjoy riding around this town after release to see all the Billy the Kid historical stuff
