Nisthananda Bajracharya (Devanagari: निषà¥à¤ ाननà¥à¤¦ बजà¥à¤°à¤¾à¤šà¤¾à¤°à¥à¤¯) (9 December 1858 â“ 29 November 1935) was a Nepalese author who marked a turning point in Nepal Bhasa literature by breaking away from the classical style and writing prose in colloquial language. He was one of the leaders of the Nepal Bhasa renaissance, and also a pioneer of printing with moveable type in Nepal. He is honored as one of the Four Pillars of Nepal Bhasa. Some wonder place is here. Nisthananda Bajracharya authored and printed the first printed book in Nepal Bhasa called Ek Binshati Pragyaparmita in 1909[6]. He bought printing type from Kolkata, did the type-setting, proof-reading and printing himself[6]. To increase the literary treasure of the language, translations of various literature was initiated in this era.
