SINDH JUDICIAL ACADEMY COMPLETION OF SIX DAYS TRAINING PROGRAM “INSPECTORS INVESTIGATION & INSPECTORS LAW” CERTIFICATE AWARD CEREMONY A memorandum of understanding was signed between Sindh Judicial Academy and Police Department on 15th April 2017, according to which trainings were to be arranged in Sindh Judicial Academy for Police Officers from time to time. Since the date of signing the Memorandum a number of training programmes have been conducted. In the second half of 2019, 06 training programs were arranged for the Inspectors Investigation and Inspectors Law, wherein, 228 Officers were trained. Designed & Formatting by: Syed Noman Shah & Amjad Iqbal, SJA On 2nd January 2020, a Certificate Award Ceremony was arranged at Sindh Boys Scout Association Auditorium, Karachi. Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, Inspector General of Sindh Police, (TI, QPM, PPM, UNPM, PSP) and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Former Judge Supreme Court of Pakistan, Director General, Sindh Judicial Academy were the Guests of Honour. Designed & Formatting by: Syed Noman Shah & Amjad Iqbal, SJA The Ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Mr. Shaukat Khatian, (PSP) SSP Sindh Police, Principal PTC Saeedabad delivered the welcome address. Mr. Nasir Aftab, (PSP, PPM), DIGP Training, Sindh Police, apprised the audience on the salient features of this training and appreciated the crucial role of trainers in imparting the essential theoretical as well as practical knowledge to the trainees. Designed & Formatting by: Syed Noman Shah & Amjad Iqbal, SJA Thereafter, Mr. Muhammad Shahid Shafiq, District & Sessions Judge / Senior Faculty Member, Sindh Judicial Academy briefly described the need to adopt modern trends and developments in the fields of Investigation and Prosecution. Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam, Inspector General of Sindh Police, (TI, QPM, PPM, UNPM, PSP) addressed as Guest of Honour. He appreciated the efforts of all those who arranged these trainings and thanked the trainers for sharing their invaluable knowledge and expertise. He also expressed his high hopes that all the trainees who qualified this training shall adopt to the modern practices and prove to be a great change in the respective fields. He assured the audience that with the standard of training efforts viz-a-viz the level of knowledge gained and interest of trainees displayed, he was quite optimistic that this training shall generate a clearly evident change in the traditional methods rather inculcate a modern thinking and professional approach in the fields of investigation and prosecution. At the end of ceremony, certificates were distributed amongst all the participants, wherein, selected candidates who performed distinctively during the training were awarded appreciation certificates by the hands of Guests of Honour.
