This is an informal refutation and master list for almost all mainstream misconceptions about Islam and lies propagated against it; it will contain resources for everything you will need to refute allegations against Islam and evidences for Islam and links to other useful resources. With the help of Allah, we hope this will be the end of many people’s doubts. All the sources complete each other, so check out all the links to learn about a topic. [16:125] “Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best” 1 This noble intention was penned by the illustrious scholar of Tarim, Hadramawt, Imam AbdAllah bin Alawi al- Haddad, may Allah enshroud him in his mercy. He was blind from a very young age but grew in knowledge and stature to become the foremost educator in the Islamic sciences and spirituality of his time. His books are published until this day and he continues to be a source of benefit for many around the world. May Allah benefit us by him, ameen. Imam al-Dhahabi (Allah have mercy on him) points out to the signs of having a sincere intention or otherwise, He mentions that the one who seeks knowledge for the sake of Allah Most High, then that knowledge creates in him humility, humbleness and the fear of Allah. And the one who seeks knowledge for worldly gains, he becomes proud with his knowledge, thus argues and quarrels with other Muslims. 2 3 Identification & Usage This is the only genuine second version of this book made by the same author. This booklet aims to highlight the most mainstream attacks against Islam and refute them informally. Every link posted here was checked and only the best of resources were picked. By the help of Allah, this book will guide many if you understand how to use it correctly which will be explained in the next section. A lot of hard work has been put into the making of this, and all humans make errors. If I happened to have included a wrong website or a mistake Allah forgive me and do not hesitate in reaching out to us to tell us about this error. Regarding the content of this book, they are all free to use, share and publish. Do whatever you want with it as long as you have the right and clean intention of defending this beautiful religion. Share this book everywhere, in return we will all earn rewards and beneficial knowledge. We need Muslims to be safe from foolish and deceitful missionary tactics. And Allah Guide us all to his straight path. This book assumes the following (a) you have a strong knowledge of Islam beforehand and believe in it well. (b) You can recognize the argument from keywords about it only, as I won’t be posting them (c) That if you are still new to the religion or not that strong in faith you should NOT be reading the non-Muslim arguments until you learn thoroughly about Islam. How to use this book? The point of this book is to be a huge compilation of the links refuting arguments and a compilation for Da’wah resources. So perhaps it’s even wrong to call it a book; it’s only a list but you (the user reading this) should be able to benefit as if it was a book if you use the list in the following manner: (a) Do not post links during debates or discussions with people unless they ask for it, it’s annoying and usually shows that you are not that serious about the discussion. Which leads to the next point: (b) if you are not supposed to be posting the links, so what should you do with them? Open a notepad or grab a pen and paper or write wherever you want and look for the argument you are going to be discussing and read all the links and related topics. Then start to make your own notes from your understanding about them and make sure to include sources for your information. In this way you have converted the primary material of this book into very useful arguments. Then find the perfect way to present these arguments using Da’wah techniques. (c) Now why have I stressed on reading everything? Because every line of this document is packed with information and the purpose of having multiple links is that they provide enough information to complete each other and provide a final comprehensive document targeting the argument from every aspect and is ready to be used during da’wah. A very important factor to take care of is your explanation of the argument. Even if you have all the knowledge about a topic you will never refute anyone until you are able to communicate with them and understand each other. (d) This entire book is a perfect example of how you can utilize the 21st century’s most advanced technology: the search-engine “Google”. The links were not brought from outer space, so it is recommended for both Muslims & Non-Muslims to find answers in trustworthy books and websites. Gaining knowledge, saving time. Also, be a good ambassador of Islam, non-Muslims read nor the Quran or hadith, they read you.     Running Like Zebras by Edip Yuksel PREFACE This book contains a debate between Mr. Edip Yuksel, a proponent of the Quran's numerical structure based on the number 19, and its detractor and skeptic "par- excellence" Mr. Daniel (Abdulrahman) Lomax. The actual polemic took place on an Internet computer bulletin board, where Mr. Lomax has for the past several years posted his refutations of the Quran's mathematical structure. The original work of decoding the Quran's mathematical pattern based on the number 19 (found in sura 74 verse 30, a chapter entitled "The Hidden") was done by the late Dr. Rashad Khalifa in the seventies and eighties. His work was initially welcomed in the Muslim world, until he arrived at the unavoidable conclusion that Muslims should follow the Quran, and the Quran alone, as a source of religious guidance. This was too hard for the power that be in traditional Islam (the religious scholars) to swallow. Dr. Khalifa's works were eventually banned in the Muslim countries (he was murdered in 1990), and ideas similar to his were either suppressed or hotly refuted. In a sense, then, the debate contained in this book is an ongoing struggle between people who follow the Quran alone and those who follow hadith, sunna and consensus of the religious scholars and clerics. A debate between those who are satisfied with God's revelation and those who uphold religious traditions based on man-made dogmas. A polemic between the supporters of the true message of Muhammad and the supporters of the man-made sayings attributed to the man.

Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research 3 | The Issue of Apostasy in Islam The Shari’ah consists of some laws that remain the same regardless of changing circumstances and others that change with them. Most of the Shari’ah is up to individual Muslims to follow in their own lives. Some are for judges to implement in courts. Finally, the third set of laws is for the ruler or political authority to implement based on the best interests of society. The Shari’ah ruling on Muslims who decide to leave Islam belongs to this third group. Implemented in the past to protect the integrity of the Muslim community, today this important goal can best be reached by Muslim governments using their right to set punishments for apostasy aside. One of the most common accusations leveled against Islam involves the freedom of religion. The problem, according to critics: Islam doesn’t have any. This criticism might strike some as odd since it has been well established that both the religion of Islam and Islamic civilization have shown a level of religious tolerance that would make modern Americans blush.

Though HTS was careful to avoid direct military collaboration with Turkey, it welcomed the Turkish Army’s presence as an additional force against the Syrian regime and secular opposition groups. This caused a significant rift among the group’s supporters and the al-Qaeda community, who accused HTS of thwarting its own jihād by forming relations with Turkey, considered by Salafi-Jihadists to be an apostate. This analysis aims to explain how HTS has legally justified its relations with Turkey. After outlining key legal terms and the group’s creed, I argue that under the doctrine of loyalty and disavowal and the doctrine of necessity, HTS is in fact able to legally justify relations with an apostate during jihād. However in doing so, the group is unable to reconcile its own methodological deviance, in which forgoing doctrinal purity for military pragmatism appears to be undermining the objective of its own jihād.
