On 3 July somewhat larger ensembles will perform – we will listen to Moniuszko’s string quartet and Johannes Brahms’s string quintet and sextet. And so, a night awaits us that 06.07 • Saturday • at 8 pm Tickets: 80/60 PLN will be full of poetry spoken just with sounds of music. The Penderecki Piano Trio It has become the tradition of the Arsenal Nights, that there is a room for lighter repertoire as well, that steps out of the formal zone of classical Konrad Skolarski – piano The Młynarski-Masecki Jazz Band music. On 1 July (Monday) we will be entertained by the Portuguese musi- Jarosław Nadrzycki – violin cian Telmo Pires, introducing us to the world of fado, the genre of nostalgic Karol Marianowski – cello songs originating in harbour districts of Lisbon, expressing nostalgia and Jan Emil Młynarski – vocal, banjola, longing for love and the lost youth that is forever gone. The one but last Marcin Masecki – upright piano, arranger, music director, Jerzy Rogiewicz – drums, Piotr Wróbel – sousaphone, night of the festival will teleport us to the pre-war Poland.
