Tematická Řada Pro Výtvarnou Výchovu Na 1. K postihnutí této komplexní problematiky přistupuje v první řadě skrze tematickou rešerši, věnovanou fenoménu pohybu ve výtvarné kultuře. Ten se pokouší postihnout jak v rovině námětové, tak také jako svébytné médium – představením kinetických principů moderního a současného umění. Úvodní teoretický vstup je dále doplněn didaktickou analýzou tematiky, mapující uchopení vybraných principů ve výtvarných činnostech na prvním stupni ZŠ. Navazující část projektová pak rozvíjí dané téma v rovině praktické. Představuje přípravu a realizaci tematické řady, složené z osmi provázaných lekcí, jejichž cílem je přiblížit žákům dimenze pohybu a způsoby jeho vyjádření nebo zachycení prostřednictvím experimentálních a jiných činností, při využití tradičních i současných výtvarných médií a postupů. Karel Řepa, Ph.D. The year of presentation: 2020 Abstract: Both theoretical project-based thesis focuses on the topic of motion in art and education. To be able to cover this very complex subject, the thesis consists firstly of thematic search, which is dedicated to the phenomenon of capturing motion in the field of arts. It aims to examine motion and dynamics from a thematic perspective as well as constituted separately as an independent element by introducing the basic kinetic principles used in contemporary modern art. The introductory theoretical part of the thesis is secondly followed by a didactic analysis of the issue, mapping a few selected principles and describing how they are handled in primary school teaching. Subsequent part of the thesis is project-based, and it develops the topic further in a practical dimension. It presents eight interrelated, creative lectures including a written preparation and its application in a primary school classroom. It targets different dimensions of motion in art, various ways of expressing and capturing it through experimental methods involving traditional and modern art techniques, medias and practices. Člověk může pozorovat vítr pohrávající si s listy stromů, jedoucí auto, neklidnou hladinu řeky, plápolající oheň v krbu či vlaštovky odlétající do teplých krajin. Samotný život není nic jiného nežli neustálá proměna a pohyb. Kromě pohybu planety Země existuje také pohyb, který takřka ani nevnímáme – samotný rozpínající se časoprostor. Pohyb je velice široký pojem, kterým se lidé zabývali od pradávna, ať už z fyzikálního či filozofického hlediska. Není divu, že právě pohyb stal také častým námětem a předmětem zkoumání výtvarného umění. Touha zachytit pohyb je stejně stará jak lidstvo samo a jeho záznam se vyvíjí také s vývojem samotných výtvarných médií. Jednou z mnoha úvah, demonstrujících zájem moderního umění o pohyb, je například ta od arménského malíře Arshile Gorkyho: „Život lze přeložit jako pohyb a pokud umění zobrazuje život, pohyb by do něj měl být vepsán, pouze pokud se umění hýbe, jsme si vědomi toho, že žijeme.“ 1 Téma pohybu ve výtvarné kultuře mě osobně zaujalo již v prvním ročníku na Jihočeské univerzitě. Konkrétně to byly veselé kinetické mobily od Alexandera Caldera, jež ve mně probudily větší zájem o kinetické umění a zároveň mě inspirovaly ke zpracování tohoto tématu v diplomové práci. Which is simply pure thought.” Takis Meier Building Level 0 PANAYIOTIS VASSILAKIS, KNOWN AS TAKIS, was born in Athens in 1925 and died in August 2019. He was a member of the Resistance during the German occupation of Greece, and he was imprisoned during the Greek Civil War, which broke out in 1946. He was a self-taught artist who began by studying classic ancient sculpture. He went to Paris in 1954 and lived there for long periods of time. It was the city where he also started exploring the sculptural possibilities of electromagnetism. For Takis, the visual qualities of an artwork were not the most important ones: “What I was obsessed with was the concept of energy.” This exhibition is not chronological. Instead, it is arranged by some of the most outstanding aspects of Takis’s work. In the mid-1950s, Takis began experimenting with the use of energy and movement in sculpture. “What I was interested in was the idea of bringing a new, uninterrupted and living force to iron sculpture.

The Athens & Epidaurus Festival is an international event that has been warmly embraced by audiences and artists for 65 years. Normally on this day we would all be at Peiraios 260, together with friends, artists and journalists, to announce our programme. This is a programme we have been working on for seven months now, in collaboration with the entire Festival team and with the practical support of our Board of Directors, as well as my invaluable team of artistic advisors: Stefanie Carp for international theatre productions, Costa Pilavachi for music, Ilias Chatzigeorgiou for dance and Evi Nakou for artistic research and audience development.

A sculptor of magnetism, light and sound, he seeks out the essential poetry and beauty of the electromagnetic universe. Takis was one of the most original artistic voices in Europe from the 1960s and remains a pioneering figure today. Tate Modern will stage Takis’ largest exhibition in the UK, bringing together over 70 works, including a rarely-seen Magnetic Fields installation, musical devices generating resonant and random sounds, and forests of his pivotal Signals. Born in Athens in 1925, Takis is a self-taught artist who moved to Paris in 1954 and became a key figure in the artistic and literary circles of Paris, London and New York. His inventions earned him the admiration of the international avant-garde, from William S. Burroughs and the American Beat poets to artists including Marcel Duchamp. Takis was at the forefront of kinetic art and pioneered new forms of sculpture, painting and musical structures to harness invisible natural forces. Throughout his career, he produced antennae-like sculptures called Signals – thin, flexible poles topped with found objects or electric lights – which gently sway in response to their surroundings. His idea for these works emerged while waiting at Calais train station surrounded by ‘monster- eyes’ going on and off in a ‘jungle of iron’.
