2019 ANNUAL REPORT POWERFUL PARTNERSHIPS TRANSFORMING OUR WORLD 1 DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST, By God’s grace, ARDF has been working with the Global Anglican Communion for more than 15 years. Because of your support, we have provided more than $10.9 million in funding for 194 development projects in 38 countries touching nearly 1.4 million lives in Anglican communities around the world. In addition, since 2004, a total of $2.72 million has been donated to those suffering disasters worldwide, including in the United States. In fiscal year 2019, ARDF-Global was able to expand in new directions. ARDF Kenya Charitable Trust joined the ARDF family, as did ARDF-Egypt. These new ARDF organizations are the beginnings of a movement building self- sufficiency at the national provincial level by investing in development projects that return a surplus which can be reinvested in future grants and loans. There are now five ARDF national groups serving the Worldwide Anglican Communion – Australia, Canada, and the United States (founding members), plus Kenya and Egypt. For example, ARDF-Kenya Charitable Trust already has two surplus projects (a poultry farm and an agricultural milling operation) that will generate $60,000 over three years into the Charitable Trust. A joint 2020 project in bread baking will provide a market for farmers and will supply wholesale/retail loaves to the underserved market in three eastern dioceses in Kenya. ARDF was created to be the strong hands The ARDF-US model connects donors in North America with parishes in the developing world, empowering local leaders on the ground to meet the needs of their community. When both US and international churches demonstrate the love of Jesus in tangible and spiritual ways, the impact is life giving. We are thankful to God that you show your of Christ, reaching out in solidarity with love for Christ by giving through ARDF-US.
