PRENTSA OHARRA NOTA DE PRENSA La Euskal Selekzioa de carreras de montaña llevará a la Mt. Awa Skyrace de Japón a cinco deportistas, gracias al apoyo del Gobierno Vasco Donostia/San Sebastián, 15/04/2019 La Euskal Selekzioa de carreras de montaña pondrá esta semana rumbo a Japón con el objetivo de participar en la Mt. Awa Skyrace. Oihana Azkorbebeitia, Ander Iñarra, Julen Martinez de Estibariz, Maria Zorroza, y Mayi Mujika participarán en esta prueba de primer nivel, que forma parte del calendario de la Copa del Mundo de carreras por montaña. En total, la Euskal Selekzioa participará en once pruebas de la Copa del Mundo a lo largo de esta temporada, todas ellas en el extranjero. El Gobierno Vasco, la Federación Vasca de Montaña y la Euskal Selekzioa han explicado esta mañana los pormenores de esta colaboración en una rueda de prensa que ha tenido lugar en Donostia-San Sebastián. Allí han estado Jon Redondo, director de Actividad Física y Deporte del Gobierno Vasco; Joserra Alonso, presidente de la Federación Vasca de Deportes de Montaña; Irati Anda, directora técnico de la Federación; Iñaki Uribe-Etxebarria, uno de los seleccionadores de la Euskal Selekzioa; y Oihana Azkorbebeitia, una de las deportistas de la Euskal Selekzioa. Según han indicado, este viaje será posible gracias al acuerdo entre el Gobierno Vasco y la Federación Vasca de Montaña, y servirá para seguir reforzando a la Euskal Selekzioa.
