Sunday,10.30am-3.30pm The Italian Cultural Institute is very pleased to show Francesco Franceschi’s exhibition Seasons in Chianti at Valvona & Crolla. The exhibition includes 50 images, showing Siena countryside photographed in different seasons in the course of eight years while the artist stayed in Castellina in Chianti. The images are extraordinary, stressing the metaphysical nature hidden in Chiantishire. Images inspired by painting, neither melancholic, nor exalted by exaggerated colours. It is a Chianti that has been lived more than visited. During this period Valvona & Crolla will be offering Chianti tastings.
