Media Release: Monday 27 June 2016 Streaming on Foxtel Anytime in July Foxtel original drama, Secret City s.1 arrives along with Wayward Pines s.1-2, Da Vinci’s Demons s.1-3, Luther s.1-4; plus blockbuster movies Straight Outta Compton, The Martian and more Foxtel today announced the July line up of complete seasons that will add to the hit shows already streaming on Foxtel Anytime^. Season 1 of Foxtel original drama, Secret City has started airing on showcase with each episode added to Foxtel Anytime for viewers to binge on at their leisure. The six part mini-series, based on the novels, The Marmalade Files and The Mandarin Code peels back the placid facade of Canberra and looks at a rising tension between China and America, where political journalist Harriet Dunkley (Anna Torv) uncovers a secret city of dangerous interlocked conspiracies. Also arriving in July is the mind-bending thriller, Wayward Pines that centres on a mysterious small town where visitors and locals struggle to understand the place’s strange origins, and if there is any escape. Season 1 streams in July, with new episodes from season 2 added as they go to air. Da Vinci’s Demons introduces us to the 25 year old Renaissance genius, Leonardo Da Vinci and explores a fictional fantasy history of the ultimate visionary as he struggles to live within the confines of his own reality and time to be both ostracised and celebrated for his ideas. Seasons 1-3 arrive on Foxtel Anytime in July. British crime drama Luther follows Inspector John Luther (Idriss Elba) who works for a special crime unit and is consumed by the darkness of the crimes he investigates. Luther becomes increasingly driven as he gets closer to the source of each crime as his investigations become a psychological duel between predator and prey.
