INTRODUCTION According to Urwick L.F. “Business houses are made broken in the long run not by market, capital, patents or equipment but by men” the term welfare suggests the state of wellbeing and implies wholesomeness of human being. Employee welfare measures increase the productivity of organization and promote healthy industrial relations thereby maintaining industrial peace.
