Tei-Tei-Sha House is a rest area open to students, faculty, and staff weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Made with wood locally sourced from right here in Fukuoka, it is a relaxing space that stays cool even in summer with the refreshing scent of the forest. It is named after a student meeting house on the former Ropponmatsu Campus, which was originally Fukuoka High School under the old education system. Construction was funded by charitable donations by Kyushu University alumni to the New Tei-Tei-Sha House Project, organized by the Kyushu University Alumni Consulting Laboratory, as well as donations from the Kyushu University Cooperative.
