Guide to the 2017-2018 Subject Index

Committee mandate: The Standing Committee on Families and Communities comprises 15 Members of the Legislative Assembly. It may meet to review a bill or to consider an issue referred to it by the Assembly and can also meet on its own initiative to consider issues within its mandate. The mandate of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities relates to the areas of health, community and social services, children’s services, justice and Solicitor General, education, seniors and housing, Service , and status of women.

There are two indexes for the transcripts of meetings of the Standing Committee on Families and Communities, a subject index and a speaker index. Committee activities during the 29th Legislature, Third Session (March 2, 2017 – March 7, 2018) are listed below along with the corresponding transcripts.
