Parole e musica insieme, sempre in bilico tra leggerezza pensosa, autoironia, sano ottimismo e Eventi consigliati da Sky Arte amaro disincanto, per raccontare le paure e le apparenti contraddizioni della generazione di mezzo a cui appartiene. È questo il cuore di Brunori a teatro – canzoni e monologhi sull’incertezza, la nuova avventura teatrale con cui il cantautore cosentino si cimenterà a partire dal 16 febbraio all’Auditorium Santa Chiara di Trento per poi spostarsi in tutta Italia, con un tour di date nei principali teatri. Dopo il collaudato successo dell’esperienza teatrale del 2015 con Brunori SRL, una società a responsabilità limitata, Brunori Sas porterà in scena uno spettacolo unico nel suo genere, fatto di Frida Kahlo – Oltre il mito musica e argute riflessioni, che si rifà allo stile del teatro-canzone. Question: you know who Gordon Matthew Sumner is, don’t you? The mystery will soon be solved anyway. Plea: the book, in a way, was where it all began. The idea is saving author and title till the end, so keep it quiet! Preamble, hopefully not too long. Broken Music, which is not the book at issue, is a dream that only ten years ago I’d never have dared to cherish. To those who enquire about my passions, I promptly reply, in alphabetical order: language, and music. My passion for language (as in studying foreign languages, but also and mostly as the investigation of language as a human faculty) is, at least partially, soon explained: for familiar reasons, I grew up among words, written, read out and narrated. For less familiar reasons (I couldn’t pin them down even though I’ve known myself for thirty- one years), my love for words has taken a different and, so to speak, more technical path. Його творчість отримала визнання як у слухачів, так і професійних музикантів. Інтерес до різних музичних феноменів та спрямованість на змішання стилів привели Стінга до формування індивідуально забарвленого стилю. Провідною ознакою творчості Стінга є її експериментальний та пошуковий характер. У його творах пересікаються різні музичні шари. В концертах Стінга беруть участь відомі джазові музиканти і збагачують своїми імпровізаціями пісні композитора. Він є майстром поєднання різних музичних стилів у своїх піснях, що раніше не були таким чином застосовані у напрямі поп-рок. Стінг у кожному із своїх сольних альбомів демонструє неповторну музику, що свідчить про його витончений смак та чудову творчу інтуїцію, яка допома- гає йому бути різним і самим собою одночасно. Його виконання відомих пісень має відбиток авторського стилю і власної виконавської манери. І хоча Стінга не можна назвати віртуозним музикантом, він є мультиінстру- менталістом, що дуже вдало використовує різні традиційні і рідкісні народні інструменти у своїх композиціях. Його мелодіям притаманне поєднання декламаційності і наспівності. Разом із тим вони є простими, такими, що легко запам’ятовуються, але при цьому не тяжіють до примітивізму. Нерідко британський музикант звер- тається до жанру балади, який творчо переосмислюється. Також важливо відзначити велику увагу до вербаль- ного тексту композицій. Поетичні рядки його пісень насичені філософськими роздумами і яскравими метафо- рами.

In this way, music is able to connect humans from the earliest high cultures to people of our present societies all over the world. Music is indeed a universal language and likely not restricted to our planetary society. The importance of music to the human society is also underlined by the Voyager mission: Both Voyager spacecrafts, which were launched at August 20th and September 05th, 1977, are bound for the stars, now, after their visits to the outer planets of our solar system (mission status: https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/status/). They carry a gold- plated copper phonograph record, which comprises 90 minutes of music selected from all cultures next to sounds, spoken messages, and images from our planet Earth. There is rather little hope that any extraterrestrial form of life will ever come along the Voyager spacecrafts. But if this is yet going to happen they are likely able to understand the sound of music from these records at least.
