The birthday party will be celebrated in just s, about two week when the engines will be back roaring at the “South Garda Karting” circuit in Lonato (Brescia). The venue will host the trophy for the first time in history, more than four decades after Parma the Karting-‐promoted maiden run in 1971. The 2012 edition, scheduled to run between the 19th and the 21st of October, will be -‐ highly international and also a pretty crowded one in terms of the roster. A stunning 150 drivers are expected on-‐track to represent 4 Continents and 26 Countries. In terms of numbers, Russia leads with 9 drivers, followed by Switzerland (6), Austria and Denmark (5), while the KZ2 class is set to be the most challenging one with 54 names on its line-‐up. In addition to simple numbers, the quality is set to be exceptional too. Fresh KF3 World Luca Champion Corberi (Tonykart-‐Vortex) will be competing in KF2, while will be someone to keep an eye on, as well as for Canadian Ferrari Driver Academy Lance racer Stroll, who 2009 Trofeo delle Industrie champion Yuri Lucati also scored the -‐ runner up position at Trofeo Andrea (KKart Racing), joining the KZ2 field. -

The 2019 Factory Drivers of Lamborghini Squadra Corse
The 2019 Factory Drivers of Lamborghini Squadra Corse Lamborghini Squadra Corse announces its Factory Drivers for the 2019 season. The confirmed drivers are Mirko Bortolotti (2017 Blancpain GT Series champion and winner of the 2018 24 Hours of Daytona), Andrea Caldarelli (2017 Blancpain GT Series champion), Marco Mapelli (record-holder at Nürburgring-Nordschleife with the Aventador SVJ), and Giovanni Venturini (2017 GT Open champion), who will compete in the most prestigious international championships at the wheel of the new Huracán GT3 EVO, presented at Nürburgring on 15th September. Joining them are two important new entries, British driver Phil Keen and French driver Frank Perera. Born in Reading on 20th October 1983, Keen was runner-up in the British GT in 2017 and in 2018. In the season just concluded, he earned two victories at the wheel of the Huracán GT3 number 33 of the Barwell Motorsport team. Born in Montpellier on 21th March 1984, Perera has competed in a number of international open-wheel and GT championships. Earlier this year, Perera won the Daytona 24 Hours at the wheel of the #11 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracán GT3. Raffaele Giammaria is confirmed in the role of test driver and coordinator of the Young Driver Program and the GT3 Junior Program. In regard to the professional growth of young talents, by the end of this year Lamborghini Squadra Corse will organize a shootout, with the participation of the most promising drivers of the GT3 program who stood out over the course of the season. The best driver will receive support from Lamborghini Squadra Corse during 2019. -
