Compaq’s VAX™-SCSI adapters allow direct connection of Wide (16 bit) differential UltraSCSI disks, tapes and RAID controllers, increasing overall system performance and storage capacity. This manual will serve as a step by step guide during the installation of your VAX-SCSI host adapter in your computer. This chip includes the following: • Onboard RISC processor • Internal 512Byte FIFO • Internal 4Kbyte Script RAM • One interrupt per I/O scripts IntraServer’s SCSI script implementation
