Galligani has been on-property as the director of food and beverage since October 2011 and in his new role will oversee all daily operations of the 10th century castle-turned-41-suite hotel and the surrounding 4,200-acre estate. “Since joining the Castello di Casole team, Federico has been a pillar of excellence in hospitality and operational execution,” said Timbers Resorts’ CEO and founder, David Burden. “His extensive experience in the luxury hotel sector and remarkable leadership skills will ensure that our team continues to deliver the highest levels of service to our guests.” Galligani brings 27 years of international hospitality experience to Castello di Casole. He began his career in London at the Savoy Hotel and has since held leadership positions at numerous luxury hotels across Europe including the historic Gstaad Palace Hotel in Switzerland, Hotel Nassauer Hof in Germany, The Hotel Excelsior in Venice and The St. Regis Rome.
