We're left here with so much sorrow, She should have been promised another tomorrow. Why did she have to show up at heaven's gate? Why take her now, couldn't God wait? Life feels so empty without her here, We wish we could see her, we wish she were near. We should have told her what she meant to us. She was always there, like a good friend should be. She can never be replaced, we hope she'll know, But she was so young, why did she have to go? She left her family and many great friends, Guess this is what happens when heaven sends. She belonged to God, we knew from the start, Even she knew one day she would part. But who could have known she would leave so fast? But she is gone now, she has passed. The laughs were shared, are here with us forever, We won't forget you, we can promise you...never!!! -Unknown 4 ALF Get an ABBY-TUDE This year's book is dedicated to Abby t Fargher. The Young Geese ended the season 2-3 in the extremely tough LTC East Divi- sion. Youth and lack of numbers was a concern all year. The team was comprised of 6 sophomores and 10 freshman. At certain points throughout the year there were as many coaches on the sideline as there were players. The lack of numbers provided each Above top: Wethersfield players player a chance to improve throughout the year, team up to take down an opposing which was true of each and every one of them. By ball carrier. the end of the year this young team had gone from a group that made many mistakes against Westmer on opening night, to a team that rallied from a 20-0 halftime deficit against Alwood to win 22-20 in the season finale. Hopefully this young group of men have learned from the seasons highs and lows and use it to build on for their future. - Coach Clark Scoreboard WH OPP Above middle: Mike avoids his 42 Westmer 6 opponent by carrying the ball W Union L swiftly down the field. 8 Cambridge 44 () Stark County 55 44 Galva 1.4 38 RovyX^P 36 UP Princeville 14 Annawan 8 22 AKvoi KI 20 6 wi**-3 fan* Above bottom: James fights off an advancing opponent to avoid a tackle. 12 JV Football Varsity Football Season in review: 2003 was a year of many ups and downs.
