The memories that one person finds in a picture may be totally different from the memories that another person finds in that same picture, and this will make the yearbook different to every person who sees it. Because of this, we hope that the 1987 yearbook will mean as much to you as it does to us. Co-editors Vicki Schoen and Renee Kovach Upper Right-. The halls were decorated with everything from balloons to streamers, locker signs to run-throughs, and ribbons to buttons. The 10 members of the homecoming court spent the morning watching the weather out the window. The pom-pon girls, volleyball girls and cheerleaders wore their uniforms, and the football players wore their jerseys. Some students even painted half of their face green and the other half white. What was going on? It was homecoming game day and WHS was going all out; each class even spent a week making a float for the afternoon parade. As everything turned out, the court had nothing to worry about because it didn't rain. The parade was a big spirit raiser for the school, and with the school fired up, the football players had no problem getting fired up for the game. The Juniors took first place with their float "The Wonderful World of Victory". Mr. Pillen watches his s ;hool's parade with pride. • The football guys really look enthused about the game! Tailback Joe Femali scored 3 touchdowns in the 1st half, and the Geese then got a 2-yarder from fullback Jeff Culver and had a 21- yarder by wingback Rob Mersman called back because of a clip. Travis Huggins cemented the win with a 71 yard kick off return and then a 25 yard interception touchdown that created a final score of 37-0. They brainstormed for a different idea—an idea that would make this homecoming special and magical; and magical was the word to describe "The Wonderful World of Disney". Complete with a huge video screen and all the Disney characters created by the Art 3 and Art 4 classes, the Student Council brought all the magic of Disneyland to WHS. The dance was a complete success and a terrific end to an exciting week of Homecoming fun. Jeannie Boling and Denise Andris ask Donald Duck how his sunflowers grow. • Social Responsability and Sustainability Report 2020 SA Social Responsability and Sustainability Report 2020
Social Responsability and Sustainability Report 2020 SA Social Responsability and Sustainability Report 2020 Our current circumstances, the extraordinarily complex and uncertain turn of events, leave little room for retrospective analy- sis. Our priority now must be to address both the serious health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and, at the same time, the resulting profound social and economic crisis that has struck us all so suddenly. All without losing sight of the future. These are times for decisive, rigorous action, for acting with a sense of responsibility and with a long-term view. From the very outset, PRISA, aside from immediately implementing the required sanitary measures, saw its priority as maintain- ing its operations in the areas of quality education, news, culture and entertainment. We are convinced that this was a priority shared by all our target audiences. We have given equal priority to our financial liquidity and the adaptation of our structures, resources and processes to the rapidly changing new environment. Over the past year, the Board of Directors has devoted particular attention to reviewing strategy and to defining the optimum roadmap to ensure that our range of different operations can successfully develop future projects. These must necessarily be transformative – and, by extension, ambitious and exciting – and they must be in a position to generate value on a sustainable basis for all our publics and stakeholders. We also envisage profitability levels that will allow us to offer adequate returns to those who provide us with the necessary re- sources to develop our projects. This unprecedented crisis will have a negative effect on our already high level of indebtedness, which we must reduce and bring within parameters that are appropriate to our businesses.
