The International Quartet Preliminary Contest also will be held in conjunction with the District Convention, instead of in the spring. This will give our quartets additional time to get coaching and to raise funds to attend International the following summer. This is being implemented at this convention for the fi rst time, so we welcome our quartet competitors hoping to qualify for the International Competition in Pittsburgh, PA June 28 to July 5, 2015.
