Name: Sara Gladstone Courses: ACI-ICAO Management of Airport Security Airport Security Operations Quality Management in Airport Security

After starting her career in the United Kingdom (UK) education system as a Qualified Teacher, Sara joined the Aviation Industry in 2008 and is a UK DfT accredited trainer. She delivers a wide range of training programmes in the UK and internationally, and has been deployed as a short- term training expert on two EU-funded projects (TRACECA* I & II) providing specialist courses in the Management of Training. She is also responsible for the quality control of all Aviation Security (AvSec) training courses for a UK training company, ensuring they meet legislation requirements. She is a visiting Lecturer at the Aviation University in Dubai delivering input on their MSc Aviation Security Programme.

She is a Department for Transport (DfT) Certified Instructor and is authorised to write and deliver programmes compliant with National Regulation in:

 The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Air (Category 6) Including Radioactive Materials Ground Security Training, Aviation Security Cargo (All levels), Aircrew Security, Recognition of Firearms, Explosives and Incendiary Devices and Threat Assessment.

She has developed and delivered Aircrew Security Instructor training with the Latvian CAA, as well as in the UK for Kuwait Air, in addition she has worked closely with Iceland Express Airline to develop their airline procedures and aviation security policy. A qualified Threat Assessor, Sara has delivered Threat Assessment and Positive Target Identification (Bomb Threat) Training to multi agencies including the Police, Armed Police, Civil Aviation Authority and Ground and Aircrew Trainers, Operations staff for AirTanker UK, AeroMexico and , along with , CityJet, ASL Airlines, , Norwegian Air International, and City Airport.
