Description:

A High grade of DTPA acid is manufactured by SHIV CHEM INDUSTRIES. It is also known as Diethylene tri amine penta acetic acid or Pentetic acid. It is a sequestering agent or Chelating agent. It is synthetic of amino acid. It is white fine powder insoluble in water. DTPA acid is manufactured by reaction of Monochloro acetic acid, Soda ash Diethylenetriamine (DETA) and Caustic lye. It is also prepared by the reaction of DiethyleneTriamine (DETA), Formaldehyde and sodium cyanide (NaCN). DTPA and Its derivatives are used to remove dissolve metallic impurities.

Penta(carboxymethyl)diethylenetriamine Storage : DTPA Acid should be stored in a cool dry place .Stored in container made of, or lined with polyethylene, polypropylene, HDPE. Handling: DTPA Acid and its strong solution causes serious irritant to eyes and skin. While handling this product, please wear goggles, gloves, rubber boots .In case of large spillage first spread soda ash and wash it with plenty of water .In case of injury to skin, wash it water and then wash thoroughly with soap and water. However looking to the seriousness of each case, medical attention must be obtained. Packing : DTPA Acid is packed in 25 kgs laminated HDPE bags with one polyethylene liner or as per customer’s requirement.
