Frederick Health Hospital is a 501(c)(3) not-for-proft organization and all gifts are tax deductible as allowed by law. Message from the President Dear Friends, For over 119 years, members of our community have relied on the staff at Frederick Health to provide care and comfort during their time of need. This has never been more evident than in the past year, as the people of Frederick trusted us to lead the way through the COVID-19 crisis. Driven by our mission to positively impact the well-being of every individual in our community, we have done just that, and I could not be more proud of our healthcare team. Over the past year, all of us at Frederick Health have been challenged in ways we never have been before, but we continue to serve the sick and injured as we always have—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. Even beyond our normal scope of caring for patients, our teams also have undertaken other major responsibilities, including large scale COVID-19 testing and vaccination distribution. -

It was a primitive cottage of the old style, standing in a garden and built on the cliff--the Emu Point side--overlooking the broad Leichardt River. The veranda, quite twelve feet wide, ran--Australian fashion--along the front of the cottage, except for the two closed-in ends forming, one a bathroom and the other a kind of store closet. Being raised a few feet above the ground, the veranda was enclosed by a wooden railing, and this and the supporting posts were twined with creepers that must have been planted at least thirty years. -

Brussels PRINTED FOR MELINE, CANS A.ND C"., EOILEVARD DE WATERLOO, Zi. M DCCC XXXIX. MR V. un:ve PREFACE TO THE FIRST EDITION. To assist in the detection of spurious and the correction of inaccu- rate pedigrees, is one of the purposes of the present publication, in which respect the first Volume has been of acknowledged utility. The two together, it is hoped, will form a comprehensive and tole- rably correct Register of Pedigrees. It will be observed that some of the Mares which appeared in the last Supplement (whereof this is a republication and continua- tion) stand as they did there, i. e. without any additions to their produce since 1813 or 1814. — It has been ascertained that several of them were about that time sold by public auction, and as all attempts to trace them have failed, the probability is that they have either been converted to some other use, or been sent abroad. If any proof were wanting of the superiority of the English breed of horses over that of every other country, it might be found in the avidity with which they are sought by Foreigners. The exportation of them to Russia, France, Germany, etc. for the last five years has been so considerable, as to render it an object of some importance in a commercial point of view. -

United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit
In the United States Court of Appeals For the Seventh Circuit Nos. 11-2150 & 11-2209 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Plaintiff-Appellant, Cross-Appellee, v. WILLIAM WHITE, Defendant-Appellee, Cross-Appellant. Appeals from the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division. No. 1:08-cr-00851-1—Lynn Adelman, Judge. ARGUED JUNE 8, 2012—DECIDED OCTOBER 26, 2012 Before POSNER, FLAUM, and WILLIAMS, Circuit Judges. PER CURIAM. William White was charged with soliciting the commission of a violent federal crime against a juror in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 373. The alleged solicitations at issue were messages that White posted to a website that he created to advance white supremacy, which included White’s 2005 statement that “[e]veryone associated with the Matt Hale trial has deserved assas- 2 Nos. 11-2150 & 11-2209 sination for a long time,” and his 2008 publication of information related to the foreperson, “Juror A,” of the jury that convicted Hale. The 2008 post disclosed Juror A’s home address and mobile, home, and work phone num- bers, though it did not contain an explicit request for Juror A to be harmed. White was tried and convicted by a jury. White then filed a Rule 29 motion for entry of a judgment of acquittal, arguing that the evidence was insufficient to convict him of solicitation. The district court granted the motion, finding that the government failed to present sufficient evidence for a reasonable juror to conclude that White was guilty of criminal solicitation, and that White’s speech was protected by the First Amendment.
