Gables Park 17 offers the following amenities for you to enjoy: • Fitness Center: 24 hours • 7th floor amenity lounge (including business center, Wii Room, media room, poker room, tasting kitchen, billiard area, private cabanas and dining room): 24 hours • Pool Hours: Sunday – Thursday 9 AM to 9 PM and Friday – Saturday 9 AM to 11 PM. What amenity activities can I use at the community and how do I get the needed equipment? At Gables Park 17, you can enjoy the following activities: • Pool table: The pool cues are in the billiards room. • Wii: The controls and games are available at the concierge desk. • Poker Room: Chips and cards are available at the concierge desk. • Media Room: Please reserve with the concierge desk. • Conference Room: Please reserve with the concierge desk. How do I reserve the club room? The conference room/private dining area is available to rent for your personal parties and celebrations. It is available Monday – Sunday from 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Each event can be for a maximum of 75 people. Reservation times begin with a minimum 3 hours at a time at an initial rate of $300 and can be reserved for additional hours for a $75/hour fee. There is an additional $125 cleaning fee and a refundable $1000 deposit. To reserve the room, contact the leasing office and the team will provide you with the reservation contract and complete details. Gables Park 17 Where do I dispose of my trash? Gables Park 17 has trash chutes located on every level at the end of the hallway behind the marked door for all household refuse. Where are the recycling centers? We pride ourselves on green initiatives to care for the environment. Gables Park 17 has recycling chutes located on every level at the end of the hallway behind the marked door for disposal of newspapers, plastics and glass. Our valet recycle company services the building Sunday-Thursday. Thank you for helping us to take care of the earth. What do I do with my move in boxes? It is helpful to everyone in the community if everyone breaks down all boxes and disposes of them in the refuse room located on every level at the end of each hallway in the trash room. Please place your broken down boxes in the closets labeled “boxes”. We do ask that you do not use the trash chutes for boxes, as they can block the chute and create undesirable overflow. How does my key fob work? When entering or exiting drive-up garage gate, push the button to enter or exit. When using the fob/remote to enter an elevator or amenity area, wave the fob in front of the black box located on the outside of elevator panel or the door going to the amenity area. Where are the mail boxes located? The mail boxes for your apartment home are located on the first floor in the lobby. Do you have resident activities or events? Gables Park 17 has many fun events and activities that promote a sense of community and allow opportunity for you to meet other residents. Keep up to date on all of our community gatherings in our newsletter and through e-blasts. You can expect to see events such as: movie nights, cooking classes, seminars, resident outings (i.e. State Fair of Texas, Dallas Arboretum, etc.), potluck dinners, resident-only exclusive happy hours, and sports nights. Can I have a party at the pool? Our relaxing pool areas are available for all residents and two of their guest to enjoy during pool hours. To ensure enjoyment for all residents at the pool, we regretfully do not permit private pool parties. Gables Park 17 Where is the best place for me to park? You may park in any available space in the resident parking areas. Parking in the underground parking garage (P1-P3) is limited to one car per apartment. You may also park in the upper level garage (level 2-6) during the hours of 6PM – 8AM Monday through Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday. If parking in the upper level, please park in the yellow striped areas only. As a reminder, handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty. Conveniences How do I pay rent online? We have made paying your rent easy by setting you up with your personal on line account to the Gables Gateway. You will go to www.gables.com and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available on Gables Gateway include placing a service request for repairs needed in your apartment home. How do I use Gables Connect? Changing your utilities to your new address can be time consuming and a challenge, so visit www.gablesconnect.com or call 1-866-914-0631 to transfer or set up your utilities with ease. At Gables Park 17, you can establish your new utility services for electric, phone, cable/satellite and internet, as well as secure your renter’s insurance via Gables Connect. How do I reserve the freight elevator? You can contact the concierge at (214) 969-9919 and our team will walk you through the reservation process. The freight elevator is available Mon – Su for the following 2 hour time blocks: 7am-9am, 10am-12pm, 2pm-4pm, and 5pm-7pm for moving. There is limited elevator time allocated for moving and a reservation is necessary to ensure that each resident has ample time to move. How do I get a hold of the concierge? What can he/she help me with? For help with all the community has to offer and local conveniences, you may reach our concierge at (214) 969-9919 or via e-mail at [email protected]. The concierge can offer assistance with things like: restaurant recommendations/reservations, pet services, laundry services, food delivery, packages (shipping and receiving), dry cleaning, spa services and general area information. Gables Park 17 Where can I access WI-FI in the building? The 7th floor amenity lounge and outdoor pool areas are WI-FI accessible for your use and convenience. This amenity is complimentary and part of your community benefits. Where is the rent drop box? When you need to pay your rent after office hours, you may drop it in the rent box located next to the mail center near the lobby. Do you have a courtesy officer onsite and how do I get a hold of them? If you need assistance, please contact our Concierge by calling 214.969.9919. Guests Where can my guests park? Guests may park in the upper level garage (levels 2-6) and use the callbox to enter the building. Your guest will need to pull a ticket as they enter the garage. The concierge is able to validate tickets so that they can exit for free. As a reminder, please ask your guests to park in spaces that are not marked as reserved and are white lined. Remember that handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty. Where do my movers park? In the interest of safety for proper clearance for other residents and emergency vehicles, your movers may park temporarily on Caroline Street (at the back of the building). Overnight parking is strictly prohibited and the City will issue parking violations. How does my guest access the garage? Visitors can access the building from both first floor entrances, and levels 2-6 of the parking garage. They will utilize the callbox to enter the building. Where does the delivery person come in or do I have to meet them? Delivery people will need to check in at the concierge desk. In the event you are not home at the time of a delivery, the concierge can sign for a package. If you have visitors, please feel free to call the Concierge at 214.969.9919 to allow visitor access in to the building. By request, with the visitor’s name, the Concierge will let visitors up the elevator to your floor. You may also allow access to a visitor when you are not here by signing a key release at the office. However, keys can only be accessed during business hours; and, all keys must be returned to the office by 5pm every day. Gables Park 17 How many guests can I have with me at the amenities? We love it when you share your community with your friends and family. Two guests are welcome to join you in all of the amenity areas. How do I let friends in the gate? Your guests will contact you via the call box at the gate. You will receive a call on the phone line that you provide upon move-in when your guest dials you from the gate phone pad. If the caller is someone you wish to permit entry, press “6” on your phone’s keypad and the gate will open. Maintenance How do I submit service requests? We want placing a service request for work needed in your apartment home easy.
