Gables Park 17 has trash chutes located on every level at the end of the hallway behind the marked door for all household refuse. • Where are the recycling centers? We pride ourselves on green initiatives to care for the environment. Gables Park 17 has recycling chutes located on every level at the end of the hallway behind the marked door for disposal of newspapers, plastics and glass. Our valet recycle company services the building Sunday-Thursday. Thank you for helping us to take care of the earth. • What do I do with my move in boxes? It is helpful to everyone in the community if everyone breaks down all boxes and disposes of them in the refuse room located on every level at the end of each hallway in the trash room. Please place your broken down boxes in the closets labeled “boxes”. We do ask that you do not use the trash chutes for boxes, as they can block the chute and create undesirable overflow. • How does my fob/remote work? When entering or exiting drive-up garage gate, push the button to enter or exit. When using the fob/remote to enter an elevator or amenity area, wave the fob in front of the black box located on the outside of elevator panel or the door going to the amenity area. • Where are the mail boxes located? The mail boxes for your apartment home are located on the first floor in the lobby. • Do you have resident activities or events? Gables Park 17 has many fun events and activities that promote a sense of community and allow opportunity for you to meet other residents. Keep up to date on all of our community gatherings in our newsletter and through eblasts. You can expect to see events such as: movie nights, cooking classes, seminars, resident outings (i.e. State Fair of Texas, Dallas Arboretum, etc.), potluck dinners, resident-only exclusive happy hours, and sports nights. GABLES 411: Gables Park 17 • Can I have a party at the pool? Our relaxing pool areas are available for all residents and two of their guest to enjoy during pool hours. To ensure enjoyment for all residents at the pool, we regretfully do not permit private pool parties. • Where is the best place for me to park? You may park in any available space in the resident parking areas. Parking in the underground parking garage (P1-P3) is limited to one car per apartment. You may also park in the upper level garage (level 2-6) during the hours of 6PM – 8AM Monday through Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday. If parking in the upper level, please park in the yellow striped areas only. As a reminder, handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty. Conveniences • How do I pay rent online? We have made paying your rent easy by setting you up with your personal on line account to the Gables Gateway. You will go to www.gables.com and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available on Gables Gateway include placing a service request for repairs needed in your apartment home. • How do I use Gables Connect? Changing your utilities to your new address can be time consuming and a challenge, so visit www.gablesconnect.com or call 1-866-914-0631 to transfer or set up your utilities with ease. At Gables Park 17, you can establish your new utility services for electric, phone, cable/satellite and internet, as well as secure your renter’s insurance via Gables Connect. • How do I reserve the freight elevator? You can contact the concierge at (214) 969-9919 and our team will walk you through the reservation process. The freight elevator is available Mon – Sun, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm and again from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm for moving. There is limited elevator time allocated for moving and a reservation is necessary to ensure that each resident has ample time to move. • How do I get a hold of the concierge? As it extends north towards Inwood Road, it is adjacent to additional light industrial and commercial uses, as well as two schools, Weichsel Park and a single-family residential neighborhood. Unit 4 - Dallas Love Field The Dallas Love Field unit is a low-rise industrial area that is indicative of development adjacent to many airports. Warehouses and aviation related offices lining the east side of the railroad corridor serve air cargo, maintenance and other functions at the airport itself.
