Rhymes and Linkin Park recently collaborated on “We Made It,” the first single and video from Rhymes’ upcoming album, Blessed. By touring together, Linkin Park & Busta are taking a cue from the chorus of their song: “…we took it on the road…”. As recently pointed out in Rolling Stone’s “Summer Tour Guide,” the tour will see nine acts joining rock superstars Linkin Park, who are also offering concertgoers a digital souvenir pack that includes a recording of the band’s entire set. As the band’s co-lead vocalist Mike Shinoda told the magazine, “That puts extra pressure on us to make sure our set is different every night.” The fifth installation of Linkin Park’s raging road show will see them headlining an all-star bill that features former Soundgarden/Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell, electro-rockers The Bravery and Ashes Divide featuring Billy Howerdel, known for his work with A Perfect Circle.

  • Doves, 'Some Cities' | Nouse
Nouse Web Archives Doves, ‘Some Cities’ Page 1 of 2 News Comment MUSE. Politics Business Science Sport Roses Freshers Muse › Music › News Features Reviews Playlists Doves, ‘Some Cities’ By Laurence Newman Tuesday 8 March 2005 Manchester indie trio The Doves (Jimi Goodwin, Jez and Andy Williams) release their new album Some Cities this week, but where Warnings/Promises was in a lot of ways as good a record as The Remote Part, I can’t help feeling that Some Cities will fall short of The Last Broadcast, at least in sales if not in song writing which is a bit unfortunate. That is not to say that Some Cities is a poor album, it certainly has its moments; Walk in Fire, the haunting Snowdon and the new single (and possibly the highlight of the album) Black and White Town, an upbeat, catchy pop song which for some reason made me think of The Girl with the Golden Touch. And in the light of some of the ‘music’ in the indie scene right now (The Kaiser Chiefs/Razorlight) Some Cities is like a breath of fresh air, although if you don’t already own The Last Broadcast then that might be a better way to go. If you are a fan of the Doves then Some Cities is definitely worth a listen, the album has the same sound of There Goes the Fear and Pounding that made the band a hit in 2002. The record is very cleverly layered and well produced, and some of the songs really stand out as hits (Black and White Town, Some Cities) but I just thought that sometimes songs like The Storm had been recorded better by Radiohead on Kid A and Amnesiac.

where to download linkin park album when purchased ticket Linkin Park to celebrate Hybrid Theory’s 20th anniversary. The surviving members of Linkin Park say they’re planning on celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album Hybrid Theory throughout the course of 2020. The band have called on fans to help them mark the milestone by asking for everything from ticket stubs to video and pictures of the group. Linkin Park say: “This year we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hybrid Theory . We have some very special things planned throughout the year and want you to be a part of it. “We’re looking for photos, videos, ticket stubs, merch, flyers, souvenirs and anything else you collected from the early days of the band in the late 90s through to the Hybrid Theory era of 2000 - 2002. “Some great examples include – but are not limited to – live concert footage and photos, pictures of band members and signed goodies from LPU meet and greets.” The landmark record arrived in October 2000 and featured classics including One Step Closer , Crawling and In The End, and it’s gone on to sell more than 10 million copies around the world. This month’s edition of Metal Hammer features a previously unpublished 2017 interview with late frontman Chester Bennington, where the singer paid his own personal tribute to Soundgarden legend Chris Cornell. The new issue of Metal Hammer magazine is on sale now. Meanwhile, Grey Daze – the band Bennington joined before finding fame with Linkin Park – recently announced the release of new album Amends .
