After the short introduction, you will head to the Old Town to check the places related to the most influential Polish women, like Maria Sklodowska-Curie. She was the first woman (and so far the only one!) to be twice honored with the Nobel Prize. The only museum in the world devoted entirely to this amazing scientist is located on Freta Street, in the tenement house where she was born. During this 3-hour sightseeing tour you will also find out some stories about the Mermaid of Warsaw – PAGE 1 OF 2 +48 22 492 08 99 [email protected] the symbol of Warsaw. Later you will visit the city’s smallest estate, Mariensztat, and see the part of Powisle district where the house of Pola Negri, the star of the silent movies, was stood. The next stop will be a stroll along the Royal Route – let us, just for a while, feel like princesses sheltering themselves from the sun under white parasols and look for traces of the women of the past. After this exciting trip, a cup of aromatic coffee with a delicious cake will be the right choice! After the sweet break, we will cross to the other side of the Vistula river, to Praga district, where the Polish Vodka Museum is located. There you will start the most outstanding experience ever – a vodka workshop! You have one option to choose: Polish Vodka Cocktails A cocktail preparation course where you will learn the secrets of preparing unique drinks from original and often surprising ingredients known to us all. But what is theory without practice? At the end of the workshop, you will have the possibility to prepare and taste your own cocktails. Polish Vodka Homemade Infusions Here we will deal with stories about home-made tinctures based on Polish vodka. Interesting, slightly spicy anecdotes will be incomplete without a decent dose of practical knowledge combined with a good tasting of different flavors. At the end of the workshop, you will receive an additional recipe for a home-made tincture with a set of spices as a gift. The museum specialists will conduct both workshops, which will be at your disposal to answer all your questions. Good mood and creativity are welcome! As an extra service, we can organize a guided tour to the Polish vodka factory and/or visit the Zabinski villa, known from The Zookeeper’s Wife movie. PAGE 2 OF 2 Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org).
