She distinguished between first movers and fast followers with the latter fearing tech disruption because they, as most humans, are accustomed to the way the world is and find it hard to give up well-established, proven frameworks. The first movers in tech disruption are the true pioneers, the daredevils who are ready to take risky challenges. In horticulture, think engineering company Jentjes which in 2007 partnered with Dutch rose grower Marjoland, Wageningen University and Dutch glasshouse sector body LTO to introduce the first robot in a greenhouse. -

Mameli E L'inno Italiano
L'INNO "FRATELLI D'ITALIA" o "INNO DI MAMELI" Goffredo Mameli 5 settembre 1827- 6 luglio 1849 Poeta e patriota italiano morto prematuramente all'età di soli ventidue anni, Mameli nasce a Genova il 5 settembre 1827 da un Ammiraglio della marina sarda e dalla marchesa Adelaide Zoagli Lomellini. Cagionevole di salute, compie i primi studi sotto la guida della madre. La sua casa è frequentata da intellettuali dell'ambiente genovese come Jacopo Sanvitale, Teresa Doria o Giuseppe Canale. Nel 1835 la famiglia è obbligata a trasferirsi per un anno in Sardegna, raggiungendo i nonni paterni, a causa dell'epidemia di colera che colpì Genova in quell'anno. Goffredo proseguì poi gli studi sotto la guida di Giuseppe Canale, poligrafo di grande cultura assai attivo anche sul piano politico. E' quasi certamente da questi che Mameli trasse il suo grande amore per la patria e per l'autonomia nazionale. Canale, tenuto d'occhio dalla polizia austriaca, non era infatti esente da sospetti carbonari e di forti simpatie mazziniane, tutti elementi che, in pieno fermento rivoluzionario, potevano procurare non pochi guai. Il tredicenne Goffredo frequenta in seguito la scuola pubblica, gestita all'epoca dalla chiesa, e studia retorica sotto la guida di Padre Agostino Muraglia, un esponente degli "scolopi", un ordine religioso che, in contrasto con altri ordini ecclesiastici (ed in particolare i gesuiti), impartivano un insegnamento di indirizzo liberale. Docente nel collegio di Carcare (Savona), vi era anche il padre scolopio Atanasio Canata, fervido patriota. (e sembra sia stato lui a comporre o a suggeriore i poetici versi di quello che diventerà il "Fratelli d'Italia" o "inno di Mameli"). -
