Terms & Conditions for DBS UnionPay promotions

S$25 PayPal welcome voucher promotion

1. Promotion is valid from 18 August to 8 October 2021 (both dates inclusive). 2. Promotion is limited to the first 4,000 redemptions. 3. Eligible customers who just signed up for a new PayPal account at https://bit.ly/2W9N01W and their DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card into the PayPal account will get a S$25 welcome voucher into their PayPal account. 4. Eligible customers refer to customer whom does not have a PayPal Singapore account before, and link his/her DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card into the newly signed up PayPal account. 5. The S$25 welcome voucher will be automatically credited into the customer’s PayPal account upon successful sign-up & linking of DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card to the PayPal account. 6. The welcome voucher will be valid for 7 calendar days from date of crediting into the customer’s PayPal account. 7. The welcome voucher must be redeemed in a single transaction of minimum S$50 at any merchants that accept PayPal in Singapore dollars. 8. Payment must be made in your PayPal account with your DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card.

Up to S$30 off online spend at selected online retailers’ promotion

1. Promotion discounts are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis, while stock last. 2. One-time registration of your DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card is required before Cardholder can enjoy the promotion. 3. Enjoy instant discounts with minimum spend using your registered DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card at the selected online retailers below from now to 31 Oct 2021.

4. Redemption is limited to once per day across participating grocery retailers and petrol stations, and a maximum of 12 times per cardmember during the promotion period.

5. Please note that the original transaction amount will be reflected when you checkout online, but you will be notified of the discount you have enjoyed via SMS sent to your registered mobile number shortly after the transaction has been approved. The transaction amount after discount will be reflected in your statement. 6. UnionPay International reserves the right to amend or withdraw the promotion without prior notice.

12-month Complimentary Mobile Protection promotion

1. Promotion is limited and offered on first-come-first-serve basis. 2. Promotion period is 1 May 2021 to 30 Apr 2022. 3. Register on the UnionPay U Rewards Platform to apply this promotion. 4. Cardholders are required to accumulate Eligible Qualified Spending of S$600 (or other equivalent currency) or more on the registered DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card and must use the voucher within 30 days from the date of receiving the voucher. 5. Voucher will be issued to the Eligible Cardholders within 1 day after the date of the accumulated spending reaching the requirement. Each registered DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card is limited to one voucher during the promotion period. Each voucher code can only be used for the promotion a maximum of one time and is non-transferrable once the voucher is redeemed. 6. UnionPay Mobile Protection Program covers the following: A cardholder’s insured Mobile Phone which suffers sudden, unforeseeable and accidental external forces, including dropping, impact, fire and liquid contact, causing damage to insured Mobile Phone (including screen damage) which adversely affects the functionality of insured Mobile Phone, up to 2 successful claims per year. Activation of cover is required within 60 days of new mobile phone purchase. Claims settlement would be in the form of repair or replacement of insured’s covered device (a small deductible depending on the device value will be payable by the insured in the event of a successful claim). Coverage period is 12 months from the inception date of cover. 7. UnionPay Mobile Protection is only available to Singapore residents who are 18 years of age or older and holding a DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card issued in Singapore. 8. The area, date, time, etc. of the transactions using the DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card shall be subject to the final record of the UnionPay Card backend system. The promotion only counts the Eligible Purchase Transactions made by the registered DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card generated from application time to 24:00 April 30, 2022 Beijing time. 9. For DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card issued in Singapore, purchase transactions through the UnionPay Card Transaction Network can be regarded as Eligible Purchase Transaction. The following transactions will not be eligible for the promotion: Charity and social services Transaction and any transactions that have been cancelled or refunded.] 10. Voucher is automatically updated every 30 minutes. Please complete the information filling and page submission on the insurance application page in time. If it exceeds this time limit, the current voucher becomes invalid. The cardholder will need to return to the voucher page to regenerate a new voucher and be redirected to the insurance application page to apply for the insurance.

11. Upon completion of the insurance application, Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited will send the policy documents to the cardholder’s email address as provided during application. The policy documents will include the cardholder’s policy information as an important proof for claim settlement. 12. Cardholders who are insured can contact Chubb’s Customer Service at +65 6299 0988 (Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 5pm, excluding Public Holidays) or send an email to [email protected] for claims submission. 13. Coverage is applicable worldwide except in sanctioned countries and in a country where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore has issued advice against travelling there prior to insured’s departure. Claims settlement would have to be performed in Singapore only. 14. Documents required for claim settlement (The details shall be subject to the actual requirement of Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited): • Policy reference number • IMEI number of the insured’s covered mobile phone • Purchase receipt / invoice of insured’s covered mobile phone • Other relevant proof and documentation that can be provided by the claimant to confirm the nature, cause, and loss of the reported accident 15. After a claim has been made, Chubb will need to verify and approve the claim before scheduling an appointment for the insured at the nearest repair centre where the insured can get his/her device repaired or replaced. Depending on the severity of the damage, the turnaround time for this service typically ranges between 3 – 5 business days. 16. UnionPay reserves the right to disqualify the Eligible cardholders to participate in the benefit and cancel or retrieve the benefit that have been issued directly or through the issuing without prior notice if the Eligible cardholders exploit system vulnerabilities, use plug- in software, add-ins or any other dishonest means or tools to obtain benefits. 17. Promotion is intended for personal use only, not transferable. Voucher cannot be used for any commercial or promotional purposes or any other purposes whatsoever and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, other products or discounts. 18. Products and services are provided by Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited. UnionPay International is not the service provider of this campaign, and it does not assume any responsibility for the quality or performance of the products or services provided. Any disputes arising from the quality of its products and services will be handled by Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited. 19. Marina Bay Sands exclusive privileges

1. Promotion is valid till 30 June 2022. 2. UnionPay Platinum Card and UnionPay Diamond card members receive complimentary Sands Rewards LifeStyle Elite tier membership for 3 months. Membership extension will be granted if spending criteria is met. 3. To enjoy this offer, you must be at least 18 years old and have proof of identification e.g. passport, or any valid government-issued photo identification such as your Singapore NRIC, Long Term Social Visit Pass or Employment Pass. 4. This promotion is valid for one-time redemption per member. Members who have redeemed an Elite upgrade offer under Third Party Partners will not be eligible for another. 5. The terms and conditions of the promotion is applicable to Marina Bay Sands. Details can be consulted from customer service staff. 6. S$15 PayPal voucher promotion

1. Promotion is valid from 18 August 2021 to 17 August 2022 (both dates inclusive). 2. Eligible customers must make a cumulative spend of S$150 per month (based on calendar month) with your DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card on PayPal to receive the S$15 PayPal voucher. 3. Eligible customers refer to DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Cardholders who make payments via PayPal using their DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card that is linked in the account. 4. Each customer is limited to 1 redemption per month, and a maximum of 6 redemptions during the Promotion Period. 5. The S$15 PayPal voucher will be credited into the customer’s PayPal account within 14 business days from the last day of the ending month. 6. The voucher must be redeemed with a single minimum purchase of S$20 and is valid for 30 days from the date of the email that confirms the voucher has been credited to the customer’s PayPal account. 7. Payment must be made in your PayPal account with your DBS UnionPay Platinum Debit Card.
