(4) £500 - 700 €580 - 820 7 A William IV silver nutmeg grater by Gervase Wheeler, Birmingham 1836 Rectangular form, the hinged cover and base with engraved engine turning, the body with reeded sides and foliate scroll thumbpiece, steel rasp, length 3.7cm. £500 - 600 €580 - 700 7 Silver & Objects Of Vertu | 5 8 A late 18th/early 19th century silver and paste set Masonic Past Masters jewel maker’s mark only, stamped ‘I.S’ in rectangular punch, circa 1800 The paste set body formed as a domed arch supported by Corinthian columns on a pedestal base, the openwork centre formed as the sun with inset red glass eyes between a pair of spread compass on a chevron applied with paste flowers, height 14cm. £500 - 700 €580 - 820 8 9 A pair of George III silver buckles maker’s mark only, by Thomas Wallis (II), London circa 1785 The curved rectangular ring cast and chased with foliate tipped reeds on a linear grounds with beaded border, width 6cm, together with a pair of Georgian paste buckles, a Southern Russian silver and niello clasp, two pairs of Egyptian metalware and niello belt clasps with dagger-shaped pins and another similar gilt-metal and enamel example. (Qty) £500 - 700 €580 - 820 9 10 Y A 19th century Austro-Hungarian silver-gilt and enamelled vinaigrette by Samuel Goldschmidt, Vienna 1866 Compressed circular form, the hinged lid with enamelled scene of a couple reading in a landscape and opening to reveal a gilt interior and removable grille, the underside also with enamelled scene of a couple playing the lute, with translucent red enamel sides embellished with painted gold scrolls, with ring attachment, diameter 2.3cm; together with a collection of boxes, comprising: two silver and tortoiseshell patch boxes, by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1906 and 1911, one inlaid with coast of arms, the other with floral roundel, a plain circular patch box by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1920, a similar example, by Crisford & Norris Ltd, Birmingham 1911, plain, a small Irish box, by William Egan & Sons, Dublin 1947, cylindrical form, the cover engraved with initials, a 19th century German snuff box, by Karl Kurz, Kesselstadt, with import 10 marks for Samuel Boyce (Boaz) Landeck, Chester 1905, rectangular form, embossed with a shepherdess and her sheep, a similar example, stamped ‘TRB’ 925 ‘XR’, heart form; and two mother of pearl and silver pen knives, Sheffield 1900, weight of weighable silver 3.5oz.
