Assim, em Outubro, propomos-lhe que passeie pelo Concelho, que vá ao Convento dos Capuchos, à Casa Municipal da Juventude de Santo Amaro, às igrejas de Almada Velha, ao Fórum Municipal Romeu Correia, à Incrível Almadense, ao Farol de Cacilhas e à Casa da Cerca e se deixe cativar por sonoridades várias que espelham o talento e empenho de muitos que a esta arte se entregam e que este mês dedicam especialmente a si. The month intended to celebrate Music is made of a multitude of sounds and styles. Therefore, in October you're suggested to stroll about the Municipality of Almada and visit places like the Capuchos Convent, Santo Amaro's Youth Municipal House, the churches of Old Almada, the Romeu Correia Municipal Forum, the Incrível Almadense Philharmonic Society, the Cacilhas Lighthouse and the Cerca Manor, letting yourself be captivated by the various sounds that reflect both the hard work and the talent of all those who are committed to this art and which have dedicated this month entirely to you. I believe that each and every member of the three California clubs, Casa de Macau USA, Lusitano Club of California, and UMA, Inc., should be made a member of the MCC. At UMA's last two Annual General Meetings, the members voted for the unification of the three California clubs into one. When in 1999 the Government of Macau generously donated funds amounting to US$2,000,000, it was in order to acquire a cultural center for the entire Macanese community in California, as represented by the three aforementioned clubs.
