MINFFORDD YARD TOURS

There are exciting plans for the future of Minffordd Yard (originally constructed as a transhipment yard with the standard gauge Cambrian Railway, but nowadays the base for the F&WHR's Civil Engineering Dept.) so it is well worth a visit. We first ran guided tours around the Yard during the 'Our Railway Adventure' event in May - and they have been a 'best seller' ever since.

Don't miss this opportunity to see 'behind the scenes', as well as taking a look into the future of Minffordd Yard - often glimpsed from passing trains, but rarely seen in detail. Tours will take place at 10:25 and 13:50 on Saturday 11th October. Your Guide will meet you at Minffordd Station, allowing you to travel out from Porthmadog on the main service trains

Numbers are limited to a maximum of 10 per tour, so must be booked in advance with Porthmadog Booking Office (01766 516024) NB: Participants must hold a 'Saturday' or 'Three-Day' Event Rover Ticket.
