***JANUARY 22nd** VIGIL in SANTA FE and LOS ALAMOS

(From member Greg Corning) Subscribe Past Issues Translate RSS The UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons will go into effect on the 22nd of January, this Friday. Our VFP (Veterans For Peace) chapter will hold a vigil from noon to 1 p.m. on that day at the southeast corner of St. Francis and Cerrillos. We'll have new banners relevant to the treaty.

After 1 p.m., we will drive up to Los Alamos and hold a vigil at Ashley Pond. I imagine that will start at about 2 p.m.

Would you please let your network know and encourage everyone to join us? People may bring their own signs - relevant to nuclear weapons and national laboratory weapons programs.

I suppose people from Taos might just want to meet us in Los Alamos, it being slightly closer to Taos than is Santa Fe. That's fine.
