SUMMER PARTY 25th JUNE 2019

We are trying a new venue for the 2019 Dartmouth and Summer Party which will be held on

Tuesday 25th June 2019, 6 – 8 p.m., at Michael Sutton’s Cellar at Riversbridge, Embridge. The postcode is TQ6 0LG if you want to put this into your SatNav.

From Dartmouth the most direct route is to turn right off the A379 road (to ) at Venn Lane (actually straight ahead as the main road takes a sharp left hand bend, just after the narrow section with the old toll house with all the radio aerials on top). Then follow this road straight all the way (a right and then immediately left at the cross roads - signed to Bowden). Riversbridge is on the right hand side after about 1¼ miles. Or, alternatively, you can continue on the A379 as far as Blackpool Sands and about 50yds beyond the entrance take the small road to the right by the thatched cottages and follow this road beside the river until you get to a T-junction, then turn right and Riversbridge is about 50 yds on the left hand side. There will be a light cold buffet made for us this year by Simon and Serin of Dartmouth Fine Foods for a cost of £15.00pp which includes your first glass of wine or soft drink. After that we shall be selling wine for £2.50 a glass and juice at 50p. As usual there will be a raffle, which we hope you will support generously, as this is where we make funds for donations to local good causes. Guests will be very welcome (especially if they might be persuaded to join the Society!) so please feel free to bring any interested friends. Please complete the slip below and return with your cheque before June 18th either by post to:

We are not issuing tickets but will, instead, have a check list on the door at Riversbridge.
