Dear Brothers and Sisters, Four Pillars in Faith ACC Beginning Tuesday morning of this week, we will Mass Schedule pray together after each Mass, including all four Sunday Masses. We truly need all the defense and Weekend Mass Schedule protection we can get and in saying this prayer we are getting just that! There is indeed a spiritual battle Saturday 4:00 p.m. happening in this world, let us use the tools we have St. Louis Bertrand, Foreston been given. Prayer is our strongest weapon! Here is some history of this prayer: “Exactly thirtythree years prior to the great Miracle of the Sun in Saturday 6:00 p.m. Fatima, i.e., on October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a remarkable St. Kathryn’s, Ogilvie vision. When the aged Pontiff had finished celebrating Mass in his Sunday 8:00 a.m. private Vatican Chapel, attended by a few cardinals and members of the Vatican staff, he suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar. He stood there St. Mary’s, Milaca as if in a trance, his face pale white, for about 10 minutes before retiring Sunday 10:00 a.m. to his office. Shortly thereafter he composed the prayer to St. , St. Mary’s, Mora with instructions for it to be said after all Low Masses everywhere. When asked what had happened, he explained that, as he was about to Daily Mass Schedule leave the foot of the altar, he suddenly heard two voices one kind and gentle, the other guttural and harsh. They seemed to come from near the Tuesday 7:00 a.m. tabernacle. As he listened, he heard the guttural voice of Satan tell God St. Kathryn’s, Ogilvie that he could destroy the Church if he had 75100 years and greater power and influence “Over those who would give themselves over to my Wednesday 7:00 a.m. service.” God granted this to him, just as he did many millennia ago, St. Louis Bertrand, Foreston granting Satan power over .” http://stpaulcc.org/historyoftheprayer tostmichaelthearchangel/. The prayer that we will pray together is as Thursday 7:00 a.m. follows: St. Mary’s, Milaca Michael the Archangel, Friday 7:00 a.m. defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness St. Mary’s, Mora and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, Saturdays: Confession at 3:00 p.m. in Foreston cast into hell Satan, and after 6:00 p.m. Mass in Ogilvie and all the evil spirits, Sundays: Confession upon request before Mass who prowl about the world in Milaca and Mora seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. Second Friday of Each Month: Confession at St. Mary’s, Mora from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Peace, Fr. Go to https://usgraceforce.com/novenaforournationourchurch/ to join the novena prayer. Catholic Bethlehem Christian Families representatives will be with us on the weekend of September 5 and 6 to ask for your help and blessing for the native people of the Holy Land in Bethlehem. These families, sixty years ago, made up 18% of the population. Due to recent events in the Middle East, it has caused these families to face devastating economical strain, and caused the population to decrease to less than 2% in the Holy Land. These families have relied on the income from the sale of their religious hand carved olive wood artifacts to tourists. So representatives from Catholic Bethlehem Christian Families have come to the USA to try to help support these families by bringing their artifacts to sell here. All the proceeds from sales will be sent back to the families of the Holy Land so that they may be able to keep their homes and provide for their families. We will be set up with a display of these beautiful items for sale before and after Masses at all four of the ACC churches on September 5 and 6. 712th Grade Youth Tailgate Kickoff!
