INFERNO CLUB DAY – TICKETS OUT FOR SALE Inferno Metal Festival club day will take place 16th of April where seven of Oslo’s best club stages will be used by around 20 bands. The tickets for the club day is available now and cost 40 Euro and grant you access to all clubs. New for Inferno 2014 is the stage at Kulturhuset, that will be presented by the record label Fysisk Format. Also new this year is that Norsk Urskog will be presenting the bands at DeVille's Rock Lounge. BLÅ – Dark Essence Label Night Dark Essence Records is one of the fastest growing metal labels in Norway, and has since 2004 worked with bands like Taake, Shining (S), Sarkom, Slegest, Alfahanne (S), Dead To This World, The Batallion, Hades Almighty, Aeternus, Nidingr, Helheim, Vulture Industries, Cor Scorpii, Galar, Sulphur and more. The label has a focus on unique sounding bands, and works mostly with extreme metal. The Stage at Blå will be dedicated to the artists at Dark Essence. JOHN DEE – Indie Recordings Label Night In good tradition one of Norway's biggest labels, Indie Recordings, are presenting some of their artists at John Dee during Inferno Metal Festival's club day. REVOLVER – Metal Hammer Stage This is the third time Metal Hammer Norway will be presenting the stage at Revolver. Metal Hammer Norway has had everything from well known acts to new and promising bands playing at the stage, and at Inferno Metal Festival 2013 they even had some brutal stand- up. As usual they will also hold a competition where artists from all over Norway can send in their demo tapes to win a spot to play at Inferno Metal Festival. KULTURHUSET – Fysisk Format Label Night Fysisk Format was established in the basement of the record store Tiger in 2008, and have since then released more the seventy records. Fysisk Format don't care about genres and release everything from punk and metal like Årabrot, Okkultokrati and Haust to Blood Command's arena-hardcore and art-pop like Nils Bech and King Midas. DE VILLE'S ROCK LOUNGE – Norsk Urskog Stage The Norwegian metal underground is as always ripe with some new and amazing bands waiting to be discovered! All the way from gloomy doom to biting black metal, from proggy thrash to bone crushing death, from old-school to modern influences... It's about time we made another Norsk Urskog CD sampler! Norsk Urskog is about sharing with the world some of the variety and quality among the lesser known bands in the Norwegian metal underground. In addition it's about giving the bands an opportunity to be heard, and now also seen! This time around we will in addition to spreading our CD sampler at the Inferno Metal Festival, also host our own Norsk Urskog stage at the festival club day! http://thrashmetal.no/norsk_urskog ROCK IN – South of Heaven Stage South Of Heaven started up 10 years ago and have established themselves as one of the most important clubs for Norwegian underground bands. South of Heaven will present the stage at Norway's long living metal pub Rock In. VICTORIA Once again Inferno Metal Festival will use the great venue called Victoria for some of the many artists at our club night. The first band announced to play on this stage for 2014 is the Japanese band called SIGH. The band plays avantgarde black metal and will be perfect in this old building that used to be a theater.
